A topic many avoid.
A conversation many need.

Our February GWISE Table Talk became one of the most honest, vulnerable, and bold conversations we’ve had as a community.

From relationship struggles, expectations, intimacy, communication, heartbreak, healing, commitment, and marriage — nothing was off the table. Both men and women courageously shared perspectives, personal stories, confessions, and real-life experiences that many silently carry but rarely openly discuss.

What once felt taboo in many laid-back communities was brought into a safe space for meaningful dialogue, reflection, awareness, and growth.

One of the most beautiful parts of the evening was seeing the audience participate so openly — asking daring questions, sharing personal stories, and realizing they were not alone in their experiences.

ANNOUNCING: GWISE SEED FUND PROGRAM 🌱

At GWISE, we believe that sometimes, all a woman needs is not charity — but an opportunity, guidance, support, and someone willing to believe in her potential.

The GWISE SEED Fund Program was created to help transform one woman at a time through:
✨ Zero-interest seed funding
✨ Mentoring and coaching
✨ Practical business guidance
✨ A supportive community of women

This initiative is designed for women who desire to improve their economic condition through honest livelihood, entrepreneurship, stewardship, and sustainable income generation.

Priority may be given to:
• Single mothers with at least one child
• Women with limited or unstable income
• Women supporting their families or dependents
• Women with small livelihood experience such as buy-and-sell, online selling, vending, or micro-enterprise
• Women who are hardworking, teachable, and willing to grow through mentorship and coaching

This is more than financial assistance.
This is about restoring dignity, building confidence, creating sustainable livelihood, and helping women rise through community and empowerment.

Because when one woman is empowered, families and communities are impacted as well.

What made our recent GWISE Table Talk meaningful was not only the topic, but the depth of the conversations shared around “Automation, AI, and People.”

It was engaging, informative, and genuinely interactive, bringing together diverse perspectives from the academic sphere through Dr. Dave E. Marcial, the business sector through Lourvie Lanne Sabijon, and the HR and people development perspective through Wensley Santillana Arquio.

What I appreciate most is seeing women intentionally create space for conversations that matter. These are conversations that help people navigate the realities of technology, leadership, humanity, and the future of work with wisdom and responsibility.

To the women in the GWISE community who continue to support this movement by sharing their expertise, insights, and presence, thank you for helping us build a culture of learning, collaboration, and empowerment.

And to the men within our GWISE community who have continued to champion, encourage, and support this vision alongside us, thank you for recognizing the importance of empowering women while building stronger communities together.

At its heart, GWISE exists to transform one woman at a time by creating spaces where voices are heard, perspectives are valued, and meaningful conversations lead to growth, leadership, and impact.

We were deeply honored to have Dr. Mark Anthony King, Global Adviser of Growthinity, Inc., share during our February GWISE Table Talk Series where he spoke on the vision and mission of Growthinity and how GWISE stands as a living expression of that mission through women empowerment, leadership, and community transformation.

I became emotional as I listened to the very first GWISE Manifesto being recited by the first group of women who chose to believe in this vision long before it became visible.

What once lived quietly in my heart as a calling from God had now become something tangible. What a joy to behold a room filled with women united by purpose, growth, and the desire to create impact beyond themselves.

After seasons of praying, waiting, building, and taking intentional steps toward this vision, witnessing the founding chapter stand together that day deeply moved me and ignited my commitment to continue walking this path no matter the challenges ahead.

Thank you, Elin Lundvall, for leading the recitation so beautifully, and thank you to every woman who chose to walk with us from the very beginning. You are part of the foundation of what GWISE is becoming.

It was the beginning of a movement taking shape.

Our very first GWISE Table Talk in January brought together women leaders from different sectors for a meaningful conversation on “Renewing Mindset, Ethics, and Compliance for a Purpose-Driven Year.”

But beyond discussion, something deeper was built that day.

We created a space where women are not only present but truly seen, heard, and understood. A space where voices are valued not because of titles, but because of the courage to share ideas that can transform lives, communities, and future generations.

This is how chance begins:
- a room
- a conversation
- a community willing to grow together

And from there, impact multiplies.
