This June, we celebrate the diverse stories, identities, achievements, and resilience of the LGBTQIA+ community. Pride Month is not only a time of celebration but also a reminder of the ongoing journey toward equality and inclusion.

While progress has been made over the years, many members of the community continue to face discrimination and barriers to acceptance. True inclusivity goes beyond tolerance. It begins with understanding, respect, and embracing one another for who we are.

May this colorful month inspire us to create spaces where everyone feels seen and accepted. Let us celebrate diversity, uplift every voice, and remember that our differences are what make our community stronger.

𝐌𝐀𝐁𝐔𝐇𝐀𝐘 | The Tourism Management students proudly celebrated 𝐂𝐓𝐇𝐌 𝐃𝐚𝐲 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔 through an exciting 𝐓𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐢𝐬𝐦 𝐒𝐤𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐬 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐞𝐭𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 held last 𝑀𝑎𝑦 16, 2026, where students showcased their skills, confidence, creativity, and passion for the tourism industry. ✨

The event served as a platform for aspiring tourism professionals to demonstrate their talents in tour guiding, hospitality, cultural presentation, and other tourism-related activities that highlighted teamwork, excellence, and professionalism. Filled with energy, enthusiasm, and school spirit, the celebration truly reflected the vibrant and dynamic future of the tourism industry.

𝐌𝐀𝐁𝐔𝐇𝐀𝐘 | In line with the celebration of the College Day of the College of Tourism and Hospitality Management on May 16, 2026, teams namely 𝗦𝗶𝗱𝗹𝗮𝗸 𝗧𝗿𝗮𝘃𝗲𝗹 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗧𝗼𝘂𝗿𝘀, 𝗕𝘂𝗴𝗹𝗮𝘀 𝗧𝗿𝗮𝘃𝗲𝗹 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗧𝗼𝘂𝗿, 𝗟𝗮𝗸𝗯𝗮𝘆 𝗡𝗲𝗴𝗿𝗲𝗻𝘀𝗲 𝗧𝗿𝗮𝘃𝗲𝗹 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗧𝗼𝘂𝗿, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗛𝗶𝗿𝗮𝘆𝗮 𝗧𝗿𝗮𝘃𝗲𝗹 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗧𝗼𝘂𝗿 are set to compete in this year’s Tourism Skills Competition at Negros Oriental State University. The competition will feature Tour Package Making, Flight Safety Demonstration, and Local and International Tour Guiding events, where students from the Bachelor of Science in Tourism Management program will demonstrate their knowledge, creativity, communication skills, and professionalism. The annual event aims to strengthen camaraderie among year levels while showcasing the capabilities and excellence of future tourism professionals.
