This line by James Kip Finch, an American engineer and educator, reminds us that engineers are part of the historic development of our world and always will be.

As proclaimed during UNESCO's General Conference in November 2019, World Engineering Day is celebrated every March 4 with the purpose of raising awareness of the role of engineering in modern life.

This year's theme is "Engineering innovation for a more resilient world," highlighting engineers' vital role in addressing basic human needs.

As we celebrate World Engineering Day today, may we be reminded of the contributions of our engineers to human welfare and development, environmental preservation, and societal progress.

Happy World Engineering Day, inhenyeros and future inhenyeros!

Amidst the battle of Covid-19 pandemic, we extended a piece of help (clothes, household commodities and cash assistance) to the family of Mr. MarglenBernaldo. The family's residence was hit by a fire last Sunday, April 12, 2020 at Brgy. Pinamopoan, Capoocan, Leyte where they lost their home and their belongings.

I would like to extend my deepest gratitude to all the people who made this possible. 😇 To the Biliran Province State University - Philippine Institute of Civil Engineers Student Chapter (BiPSU PICE-SC) famliy, School of Engineering Family, PICE-Biliran family, generous people of Biliran and most specially to the Province of Biliran Covid-19 Task Force.❤️ Thank you so much for your effort, kindness and consideration. 😊 God bless you all 😇🙏❤️

In celebration of Civil Engineering Month, Biliran Province State University PICE - Student Chapter in coordination with the PICE, Inc. Biliran Chapter conducted the 5th PICE-SC Technical Convention with the Theme: "PICE, Building Tomorrow Today" at the University Gymnasium last November 16, 2019. The whole day activity participated by the civil engineering students was spearheaded with a Seminar on Construction and Project Management and competitions such as:
♦️Bridge Building Competition
♦️Rube Goldberg Machine Design Competition
♦️Quiz Bowl
♦️Slogan Making Contest
The passers of the recent Civil Engineering board exam were also recognised during the Social and Awards Night which capped the celebration.
