DISGRASYA SA NAGA CITY CEBU, MIANGOL OG 15 KA TAWO

Moabot ngadto sa 15 ka indibidwal ang nangaangol sa sayong disgrasya sa national road sa Brgy.Langtad, syudad sa Naga o duol sa eskina Bairan alas 3:30 ganihang kadlawon, Marso 9,2024.

Sa 15 nga naangol, 13 niini mga Japanese national, usa ka tour guide, ug ang driver sa gisakyan nilang tourist van.

Pipila sa mga Japanese national nga naangol nailhan nga silang:

Ang driver sa tourist van nga lakip sa naangol nailhan nga si Baby June Fabillar Limpag, 43-anyos, ug molupyo sa Brgy.Labangon ning syudad sa Sugbo.

Samtang ang driver sa truck gimaneho ni Randy Ypil Lato, 49-anyos, ug taga Danao City, gikustodiya una sa Traffic Police sa Naga City lakip na ang iyang truck.

Sa inisyal nga imbestigasyon sa kapulisan, gibutyag sa traffic investigator sa Naga City Police Station sa DYHP RMN CEBU nga si Police Staff Sgt.Neil Villaceran nga ang maong disgrasya naglambigit og usa ka prime mover nga truck ug tourist van nga adunay mga sakay nga turista.

Asoy ni Villaceran, nigawas sa eskina Bairan ang prime mover truck ug miliko kini sa wa-la nga bahin o paingon sa dakbayan sa Sugbo dihang kalit nidasmag ang usa ka tourist van nga naghaguros ang dagan ngadto sa tunga nga bahin sa maong truck.

Ang maong tourist van padung unta sa lungsod sa Oslob sanglit ang mga sakay niining turista gusto mosaksi sa sikat nga mga butanding sa maong lungsod. Apan subo pamalandungon nga dili na kini mahinayon human nadisgrasya sila ug ilang gisakyan nga van.

Padayon ang gihimong imbestigasyon sa kapulisan sa Naga labot sa nahitabong aksidente samtang ang mga nangaangol gidala na sa duol nga tambalanan.

Post sa usa ka turista sa iyang dili maayong kasinatian sa pagsakay og tricycle gikan sa Bohol Panglao International Airport

Just wanna share my experience today.

Flew today from Manila.
And this tricycle driver offered 250 to drop me to my hotel. It’s a 6 mins (2km) drive lang from airport. Then when I’m about to pay, he told me he doesn’t have a change for 1,000 pesos. I asked if he accepts GCASH but he told me doesn’t have. He even told me “pang early christmas gift na yan mam” pertaining to my 1,000 pesos. Afterwards, he commanded me to ask the front desk of my resort if they have smaller bill. Then the front desk told me they don’t have and suggested to look for nearby stores. I rode his cab again. We did find a store nearby and instead of helping me talk to the store owners, he commanded me again “dyan ka bumaba bumili ka” which I find very rude. Then he kept on talking “dapat kasi magtour ka nalang”. The guy in the store is very kind and changed my money into smaller bills. He didn’t even bother to go down, he’s just waiting sa cab nya.Then I went back to his tricab and he started smoking na throughout the time we are going back which I inhaled most of his smoke kasi nasa harap ko sya. When he drop me off to my hotel, he asked “bakit 250 lang to eh pabalik balik tayo” he’s very rude and tries to scam me kasi ba babae at mag isa ako? He keeps on talking lang even shouted at me and not listening to me then he turned his cab around and nag-gas sya ng malala kaya yung smoke ng tricab napunta sakin.

I’ve been to bohol last year and I really liked how people here are so accommodating and kind. Way way different from what I experienced today. I was about to give him a tip pero not as big as 1,000 pesos. Just like everybody else, I am also earning my money and I value the efforts of other people pero the way he talked down to me is very frustrating.

PATAYNG LAWAS SA BRGY. HEALTH WORKER NAKITA NA

LOOK: Rescue personnel work to retrieve the body of barangay health worker Dolores Seguisabal, 60 years old, who drowned while trying to cross the river with her grandson in Sitio Langsub, barangay Uling, City of Naga in Cebu on Tuesday, May 9.

Police Liutenant Colonel WIlliam Ceda Homoc in a report said Seguisabal and her grandson were crossing the river when they got carried away by the strong current due to heavy rain in the mountains at that time.

Thrown off balance by the strong current, Seguisabal still managed to save her grandson by pushing him to the riverbank. She, however, wasn’t able to save herself.

Her body was found in Sitio Sayaw, Barangay Balirong in the CIty of Naga at around 11:20 p.m. on Tuesday. The accident happened at around 4:40 p.m. on Tuesday. | Paul Lauro
