In celebration of Science Month 2025, NCSAT Senior High School conducted a series of fun and meaningful activities, including Poster Making, Slogan Making, Quiz Bee, and Siyensikula competitions. These activities aimed to showcase the studentsโ€™ creativity, critical thinking, and love for science. ๐Ÿ”ฌ๐Ÿ’ก

Today, October 9, 12 GAS B wrapped up our Science Month 2025 visit to the Bicol Science and Technology Centrumโ€”bringing fresh energy and curiosity to the final wave of exploration. ๐Ÿ” Their experience wasnโ€™t just a recap, but a continuation of a shared journey that united senior high students across strands and sections in celebrating science through wonder, teamwork, and imagination.

Curious minds, united in discovery. ๐Ÿ‘€๐Ÿ”๐ŸŒŸ

Last October 7, in celebration of Science Month 2025, Grade 12 STEM A and B, and HUMSS B students explored the Bicol Science and Technology Centrumโ€”a playground of discovery where science came alive through hands-on fun. From testing our reflexes at the reaction time station, forming a human chain to conduct electricity,โšก and marveling at ancient corals ๐Ÿš๐Ÿชธ and dinosaurs, ๐Ÿฆ–๐Ÿฆ• to diving into physics experiments, interactive exhibits, illusions, and mind-bending puzzles๐Ÿงฉโ€”there was something to spark every curious mind. We also explored the wonders of the ecosystem, ๐Ÿž๏ธ learning how interconnected life formsโ€”from microscopic organisms to towering treesโ€”work together to sustain our planet. ๐ŸŒ Every corner offered a new surprise, a new challenge, and a new reason to say, โ€œ๐š†๐š˜๐š !โ€ โœจ

โ€ŽThe KOICA Room at Naga City School of Arts and Trades transformed into a hub of discovery yesterday, September 16, 2025, as STEM students from NCSAT, Naga City Science High School, and Camarines Sur National High School gathered for the Division-Wide Science Symposium-Workshop on Anthropology and Archaeology.

โ€ŽInternational archaeologist and UCLA postdoctoral fellow Dr. Madeleine Amee Yakal led the keynote lecture, bridging the wisdom of ancient civilizations with the innovations of tomorrow. Her insights on cultural heritage, technology, and sustainability sparked meaningful dialogue and fresh perspectives among STEM participants and other representatives.

โ€ŽMeanwhile, the sandbox archaeology workshopโ€”facilitated by dedicated volunteers from Museo de isarog, Bicol archeological Project Crew Partido State University โ€”turned theory into tactile experience. Students unearthed simulated artifacts, practiced excavation techniques, and explored how science can preserve the past while shaping the future.

Last September 8, the YES-O members started to clean and revive the ecological garden. This simple act of teamwork is part of our bigger project, From Soil to Soul: Restoration of Ecological Garden โ€“ A New Sprout for a Better Future. Our goal is to bring the garden back to life and slowly transform it into a Herbarium Gardenโ€”a space where students can learn, connect with nature, and appreciate the value of caring for the environment. Together, weโ€™re planting not just seeds, but also hope for a greener and better future. ๐ŸŒฟ๐Ÿ’š
