Tomasinong Bikolano Camarines Sur proudly completes its mission of service for our brothers and sisters in Catanduanes. With heartfelt solidarity, we reached the community of St. Alfonso Maria Fusco Parish in Lictin, San Andres, Catanduanes carrying not just goods, but compassion, dignity, and hope.

We are humbled by the heartfelt message of Fr. Boyet Gapaz:

“We are so inspired and heartened by your generosity and spirit of solidarity to our less fortunate sector in our community.”

The photo mosaic in this post—composed of the families and individuals we served in Catanduanes and the people who made this mission possible—stands as a reminder that every face represents a story touched, and every story is a piece of the collective hope we built together.

To every donor who shared what they could—whether big or small—may you be blessed for your kindness.

Rooted in Faith, united in Service.

PAGHUROP-HUROP
Is it even possible to talk about happiness while storms—literal and emotional—keep crashing in?

I think it is. But not the “good vibes only” kind that pretends nothing is wrong. I’m talking about the kind of joy that sits beside the mess, holds it honestly, and still notices the light coming through.

Bangon Catanduanes!

A Solemn Appeal from Tomasinong Bikolano – Camarines Sur Chapter

As the Christmas season draws near, our thoughts turn not to celebration, but to our brothers and sisters in Catanduanes—now enduring devastation and deep uncertainty in the wake of Typhoon Uwan.

This year, we have set aside our annual Christmas Party. The funds once meant for merriment are now consecrated for mercy—for rebuilding, restoring, and reminding our kahimanwa that they are not alone.

In response, we are preparing food packs worth ₱500 each, containing rice, noodles, canned goods, and coffee—basic provisions that can bring immediate relief to families struggling to recover. Our initial goal is to reach 100 families, and with greater support, we hope to extend this assistance to even more households.

We appeal to the generosity and compassion that have always defined us as Bikolanos. The people of Catanduanes are facing difficult days; together, we can help carry their burden.

Will you stand with us in this sacrifice?

This Christmas, the greatest gift we can offer is hope—made real through our collective response.
You may extend help in cash or in kind, and every contribution—no matter the amount—directly uplifts a family in need.

How you can help:
• Cash Donations: GoTyme Bank - Diana Frances Tan-0173 6823 1415
• In-Kind Donations: Drop off Place: Holy Rosary Minor Seminary

Let us respond as Bikolanos—compassionate, steadfast, and united in selfless service.

Tomasinong Bikolano in Mission at UBC 2025

On the second day of the Union of Bicol Clergy (UBC) 2025, our Tombiks doctors—together with invited friends in the medical profession—extended their care and expertise through free medical services offered especially for our Bicolano priests. 💛

In collaboration with PAMET, additional free HbA1c screening and blood typing tests were made available, ensuring that our shepherds not only nourish us spiritually but are also supported in their health and well-being.

This is Tomasinong Bikolano’s way of giving back: uniting faith, service, and compassion. Viva la Virgen!

🎉🎉 The Bioethical Conference on End-of-Life Care for Filipinos, a rare and significant event, was held on August 9, 2025, at the USI Auditorium. This conference was a collaborative effort by Tomasinong Bikolano in partnership with the Holy Rosary Major Seminary, the Archdiocese of Caceres, and Universidad de Sta. Isabel. It brought together over 730 participants from the health sector, religious sector, and community members to discuss the multifaceted dimensions of death and dying. The conference's primary objective was to foster a compassionate and informed dialogue on end-of-life care within the unique cultural and ethical context of the Philippines.

Keynote speaker Rev. Fr. Nicanor Pier Giorgio Austriaco, OP, Ph.D., S.Th.D., addressed the fundamental questions of the dying, emphasizing spiritual hope and the importance of love. He also clarified crucial bioethical principles such as the Principle of Double Effect and the Principle of Extraordinary Care. A diverse panel of reactors, including Atty. Pio Martin Gerardo Borja, Dr. Shayne Calleja, Dr. Federico Lagdameo, JC Madrid and Rev. Fr. William Santiago, provided medical, legal, philosophical, and spiritual perspectives. The conference concluded with a powerful call for a holistic, integrated approach to end-of-life care, one that honors the dignity and provides peace for Filipinos in their final moments.

August 8 | Feast of St. Dominic de Guzman
Founder of the Order of Preachers

Today we honor St. Dominic—preacher of truth, lover of the poor, and man of prayer.

His life speaks to us Bikolanos, Thomasians or not:
Speak truth with love. Pray before you act. Put people above possessions. Face confusion with courage and clarity.

Dominic sold his precious books to feed the hungry. He walked from town to town, preaching the Gospel with joy. He built a community rooted in study, prayer, and service.

For us today: Preach not only with words, but with life. Let faith be alive in your actions. Let charity be the heart of your mission.

St. Dominic, light of the Church, pray for us! ✨
