With deep joy and gratitude, Tomasinong Bikolano (TOMBIKS) marks the 11th week of our Supplementary Feeding Program at Sta. Cruz Elementary School!

But our work is far from over.

Hunger remains one of the challenges confronting Filipino learners, as highlighted by EDCOM II. No child should have to learn on an empty stomach. Every child deserves nourishment, dignity, and a fair chance to succeed.

With grateful hearts, the Tomasinong Bikolano (TOMBIKS) – Camarines Sur Chapter proudly receives this Plaque of Appreciation from the City Population and Nutrition Office and the City Government of Naga in recognition of our unwavering support to the city’s Health and Nutrition Programs, particularly in promoting the well-being of mothers and children during the First 1,000 Days of Life—the most crucial stage in a child’s growth and development.

This recognition reflects our enduring commitment to the health and welfare of our people, a mission that resonates deeply with the Thomasian spirit of competence, compassion, and service. As an organization, we believe that caring for the most vulnerable is one of the noblest ways of serving our communities.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Dr. Marimil Sahagun Bombase, whose 16 years of dedicated service in the Nutri-Ataman and Nutri-Nanay programs has been instrumental in this achievement. Through her steadfast leadership, tireless advocacy, and unwavering commitment to maternal and child health, TOMBIKS has become a trusted partner in advancing community health initiatives. This recognition is a testament to her exemplary service and the collective efforts of everyone who shares this advocacy.

TOMASINONG BIKOLANO FEEDING PROGRAM OFFICIALLY LAUNCHED

This morning marked the official launch of the Tomasinong Bikolano Supplementary Feeding Program at Sta. Cruz Elementary School, Naga City, through the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) among Barangay Sta. Cruz, Sta. Cruz Elementary School, and Tomasinong Bikolano Camarines Sur Chapter.

For School Year 2026–2027, the program will provide daily nutritious breakfast meals to 20 identified student-beneficiaries for 120 days to help improve their nutritional status, school attendance, and overall well-being.

Tombiks was represented by our president, Fr. Francis Tordilla and the rest of the officers. More than just feeding children, this initiative also recognizes the vital role of parents in combating malnutrition. As part of the program, Tomasinong Bikolano Nutritionist Melba Vera-Cruz will conduct a series of Mothers’ Classes, equipping parents and guardians with practical knowledge on nutrition, meal planning, food safety, child health, growing vegetables and proper feeding practices—helping ensure that healthy habits continue at home.

This initiative reflects Tomasinong Bikolano’s advocacy of promoting holistic community development through nutrition, education, and volunteerism. It likewise responds to the call of EDCOM II, which identified childhood malnutrition and poor nutrition as major barriers to learning. By investing in the health of children today, we help build a stronger foundation for better educational outcomes tomorrow.

We extend our sincere gratitude to Barangay Sta. Cruz, led by Hon. Felix Matias F. Largo Sr., Sta. Cruz Elementary School, headed by Principal Grace E. Orbeta, LGU Naga CPNO Office, represented by Joy Macaraig and Joro Tandog, our volunteers, partners, and everyone who continues to believe in the mission of Tomasinong Bikolano.

Saints John Fisher and Thomas More remind us that wisdom is not merely knowing what is right, but having the courage to do it.

Today, the Church honors Sts. John Fisher and Thomas More, two courageous men who chose fidelity to Christ over power, comfort, and public approval.

When pressured to abandon the truth, they remained steadfast in their faith, even at the cost of their lives. Their witness reminds us that holiness often requires courage, conviction, and trust in God.

May we have the strength to choose truth over popularity, faithfulness over compromise, and Heaven over everything else.

From the hallowed cobblestones of Intramuros to the iconic arches of the Sampaloc campus, the Thomasian spirit remains "ever timeless, ever new."

Two thousand Years ago, Jesus Christ was crucified under Roman authority-A fact recorded in history, not myth.

But the story did not end on the cross.

The tomb was empty
The crucified was seen alive.
the fearful became fearless.

Something happened and it changed the world.

EASTER IS NOT ONLY HISTORY. IT IS A CALL.

If christ is risen then no sin is final, no suffering is wasted and no death has the last word.

So rise with Him.
Choose Hope over despair, love over indifference, faith over fear.

The tomb is empty
CHRIST IS ALIVE!!
Now live like it.
