“To plant a tree is to believe in tomorrow.” – Audrey Hepburn 🌿

LOOK | The Metro Naga Youth Development and Empowerment Federation (MNYDEF), in collaboration with the Philippine Army and other organizations, successfully conducted a tree-planting activity in Brgy. Cararayan, Naga City, on March 29, 2025. Themed "Plant a Tree and Plan Hope for the Future," this initiative promotes sustainability, community development, and environmental conservation.

By supporting a healthier environment, this project helps mitigate climate change, prevent soil erosion, provide habitats for local wildlife, and ensure cleaner air and water for the community. The trees will also serve as a natural barrier against strong winds and floods, safeguarding homes and livelihoods, and providing shade and relaxation spaces for residents.

Through this activity, MNYDEF strives to create a brighter future for the people of Brgy. Cararayan.

Tree Growing Activity: “Plant a Tree and plant hope for Future” 🌱

LOOK | Metro Naga Youth Development and Empowerment Federation, together with the other Non-Government Organizations, Philippine Army, and Goverment Agency, took part in the tree-growing activity at the Sitio Masipag, Brgy. San Isidro, Naga City last October 5, 2024.

Participants planted floral and fruit-bearing trees led by Engr. Danilo B. Cea from City Environment and Natural Resources Office and Mr. Ernesto Asence III the Acting City Agriculturist, City Agriculture Office, Naga City. They are solely concerned to learn about the importance of sustainability, further beautifying and caring for the environment. ✨☘️

We are embarking on a journey to create a more sustainable and greener future. We are taking a big step toward restoring biodiversity and creating a long-lasting environmental impact within our cherished environment by starting our tree-growing initiative. This program aims to foster a sense of responsibility, solidarity, and environmental care. In addition to helping to fight climate change, planting native trees to restore our natural surroundings will also help to preserve the habitat of the local wildlife. 🌿

LOOK | We’re thrilled to share that our Federation President, Ramon Alfonso Bueno also known as “Ponce” from Barangay Pacol is one of the Grand finalist who participated in Bossing FM Videoke Challenge Grand Finals at Robinsons, Naga City that held yesterday, September 20. 👏

Despite of not winning the grand finals, Kuya Ramon will always be remembered as a winner in our hearts for his bravery in facing the competition. We look forward to seeing him continue to succeed and soar in his musical career. We are so proud of you, Pres! 💕 May each phrase you sing be a step closer to the magnificent composition of your accomplishment. ✨

Launch of the Seal of Good Youth Governance Ordinance and State of the Youth Address Ordinance ✨

| On August 16, the Metro Naga Youth Development and Empowerment Federation attends the Historic Launching of the Seal of Good Youth Governance Ordinance and State of the Youth Address Ordinance, authored by Councilor Jefson Felix.

In conjunction with the celebration of Youth Month (August 2024), two ordinances was launched that aiming to strengthen the leadership of the youth in Naga City. These ordinances seeks to recognize the champions of good governance among the youth as well as the recognition of the state of the youth in Naga City. It pushed us to take the initiative, be proactive, and accept responsibility for our responsibilities as community leaders. ✊

Civic and Float Parade! 🎈

IN PHOTOS | The Metro Naga Youth Development and Empowerment Federation participates in the vibrant Civic Parade 2024 on September 19, in celebration of faith, culture, and unity during the Peñafrancia Festival at Naga City, Camarines Sur. 🎗️

To commemorate the distinctive and varied features of our Maogmang Lugar, Nagueños from all over have convened in Plaza Quezon. ✨ Thousands of people participated in the Civic Parade for Peñafrancia Fiesta 2024, bringing Naga City to life with bright colors and unity. 🙌 Vibrant floats, traditional costumes, and sincere devotion filled the streets, exhibiting Camarines Sur’s rich culture and passion. ☀️ The spirit of the day served as a potent reminder of heart of Bicol the deep sense of community and faith. ✊

| On July 12 - 13, Metro Naga Youth Development and Empowerment Federation Officers and Members came together for an unforgettable team - building training at Naga Pacol Sports Complex that filled with laughter, collaboration, and camaraderie! ✨

As we navigated through fun challenges and engaging activities, we discovered the true essence of teamwork. From icebreakers that sparked new friendships to group tasks that tested our creativity, each moment was a reminder that together, we can achieve greatness. 🤝 This training leaving us more united and ready to serve with renewed energy and determination.
