Almighty God, Divine Creator, and Source of all life, as we gather in this August Chamber today, we humbly acknowledge Your presence. Representing the diverse faiths, hopes, and voices of the Filipino people, we seek Your wisdom and guidance for this afternoon's plenary session.

Grant us clarity of mind to deliberate with integrity, receptive ears to listen with respect, open hearts to lead with compassion, and strength of spirit to pass measures that serve the genuine interest of our people.

As Typhoon Maymay and the relentless rains continue to affect our land, we entrust our country and our people to Your tender protection. Protect all our people, strengthen those who serve, and keep our communities safe. Comfort those who are suffering, and grant us the unity to weather this trial together as one resilient nation.

May our thoughts reflect justice, our words embody compassion, and our actions demonstrate tireless service to the Motherland and all whom we represent.

May peace, safety, and blessings be upon our land. Amen.
