Operation BUGAS B.U.G.A.S – “Bringing Unity, Generosity, Aid, and Support”

Operation BUGAS is envisioned out of gratitude and compassion.

It is our way of telling today’s MSU at Naawan students: “You are not alone. We’ve been there, and now we’re here for you.”

🌾 OPERATION BUGAS | August 15, 2026

This morning, we delivered another 7 half sacks of rice (175 kilos) to the Office of Student Welfare—our 4th batch of donations.

This rice will be distributed to students next week as part of Welcoming Week, as we welcome them to the 1st Semester of Academic Year 2026–2027. ❤️

With this batch, Operation Bugas has now donated a total of 28 half sacks, or 700 kilos of rice, through the collective kindness and effort of everyone who supported this initiative.

700 kilos may simply be a number, but behind every kilo is a meal, a little relief, and a reminder to a student that they are not alone. 🥹🤍

To everyone who donated, shared, and believed in this little initiative, thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

And yes, we are not stopping here.

Operation Bugas — Padayon ta.

Bugas para sa MSUN Students! 🍚2nd Distribution napo tayo 🫶🏻🙏🏽

Last November 7, 2025, the second batch of rice donations consisting of seven half sacks (175 kilos in total) was turned over to the Office of Student Welfare, MSU at Naawan. In collaboration with the PUKOT Program, these were distributed today to our dormitorians to help meet their daily needs.

For now, the donations are given only to dormitorians, but soon this support will be extended to other students who truly need help and are staying in boarding houses.

Heartfelt thanks to everyone who continues to share their blessings and keep the spirit of bayanihan alive in our community. 🌾🤝

✨ From one sack to seven! 🌾
What started as a small dream has turned into hope.

Last September 26, 2025, 156 students of MSU at Naawan received not only rice but also a reminder that someone cares 💚.

Wala jud mi nagdahum nga makahatag mi labaw pa sa among gi–imagine! Thank you, MSUN alumni and friends, for your unwavering generosity and kindness. Together, we’ve proven that when hearts unite, small acts can grow into something truly life-changing.

Our vision is to keep this effort alive - to reach more students and continue spreading hope. But to do that, we need you.

If your heart feels moved, join us. Contribute. Be part of this mission.
Let’s keep the kindness growing - padayon ta sa pagtabang! 💛Matud pa nila bahalag ginagmay basta kinasingkasing 🫶🏻

🌾 Operation BUGAS: for a Cause

Are you someone who wants to give back to the younger generation—students who are pursuing their dreams but facing challenges along the way? 💚 Whether you're an MSUN or MSU alumnus/alumna, or simply someone passionate about supporting students, this could be the opportunity for you!

For many of us, university was like a second home - a place where we found friendship, love, and even healing. But we also remember the struggles: tight budgets, skipped meals, and days when food was scarce.

As former students of Mindanao State University at Naawan (MSUN), we endured with hope. Today, while many of us may not be wealthy, life has been kinder than before. And with this small measure of progress comes the opportunity to give back.

That’s how Operation BUGAS was born —out of gratitude and compassion. It’s our way of telling struggling students: 'You are not alone. We’ve been there, and now we’re here for you.

Although small, this initiative aims to provide rice to some students of MSU at Naawan - because no student should ever go to bed hungry.

📌 Check the poster for more details.
We envision this project as a long-term, sustainable effort. While we are still in the early stages and cannot guarantee its future, one thing is certain: many of us are willing to extend our support.

If your heart feels called to help, join us in this mission. 💚 Together, let’s turn small acts of kindness into big waves of hope.

Message us for details or to contribute.
