This mission is carried forward by a powerful legacy—the work of Merci “Momcie” Melchor, founder of the I AM S.A.M. Foundation and author of the I Can Read Series, alongside her daughter, Rayla “Teacher Rayla” Allertsen, Co-founder and President. 👩‍👧💖

In the Philippines 🇵🇭, learning poverty rose significantly after the pandemic, reaching around 90% of children struggling with basic reading comprehension. 📉 This is not just a statistic—it is a call to action. 🚨
