Red Cross Youth Opening Salvo 2025 ❤️‍🔥

HATS OFF! ⛑️ The Senior Plus Red Cross Youth Council of Muntinlupa National High School attended the Red Cross Youth Opening Salvo 2025 at Muntinlupa Science High School. 🤍❤️

During this event, they not only enjoyed themselves, but also gained valuable insights into leadership and the history of the Red Cross. The RCY Talk segment was particularly motivating, teaching them the importance of serving with heart. Additionally, the Battle of the Leaders competition helped them refresh their knowledge of the Red Cross' history. ❤️‍🩹

From learning about leadership to participating in the Battle of the Leaders, which taught them the value of teamwork—this event showcased the participants' enthusiasm and dedication to serving others. 🫡

Lindol: Maging Handa, Maging Ligtas

Ang lindol ay isa sa mga pinakadelikadong sakuna na maaaring mangyari anumang oras, kaya’t napakahalagang maging handa. Sa tulong ng DepEd Ready Ka! at ng impormasyon mula sa PHIVOLCS at Office of Civil Defense, matututunan natin ang pagkakaiba ng magnitude at intensity, pati na rin ang mga antas ng PHIVOLCS Earthquake Intensity Scale (PEIS) na nagsusukat ng lakas ng pagyanig. Ang kaalaman na ito ay mahalaga upang maunawaan natin kung gaano kalakas ang isang lindol at kung ano ang mga posibleng epekto nito sa ating paligid.

Ngunit higit sa lahat, tandaan ang tatlong yugto ng paghahanda — bago, habang, at pagkatapos ng lindol. Maging alerto sa mga paalala: siguraduhing may emergency kit, maghanap ng ligtas na lugar kapag yumanig, at mag-ingat sa mga aftershock. Ang pagiging handa at disiplinado ay makatutulong upang mapanatili ang ating kaligtasan. Laging tandaan, hindi kailangang matakot kapag handa ka — DepEd Ready Ka!

MNHSians, it’s time to lend a hand. 🤝🏻❤

The MNHS Supreme Secondary Learner Government (SSLG), in partnership with various school organizations—including the MNHS Senior Plus Red Cross Youth Council (S+RCYC)—officially launches a 𝐃𝐎𝐍𝐀𝐓𝐈𝐎𝐍 𝐃𝐑𝐈𝐕𝐄 in light of the recent flooding and heavy rains affecting our fellow kababayans.

Through Kaagapay Kalinga, we aim to gather relief goods and basic necessities to support affected families—both inside and outside our school community. 💚

📌 WE ARE ACCEPTING:

• Rice, canned goods (sardines, corned beef, etc.)
• Instant or cup noodles
• Powdered milk, coffee, biscuits, bottled water
