Padayon Iskolars of Tagoloan Successfully Conducts First Monthly Organizational Meeting
On August 21, 2026, the Federation Officers of Padayon Iskolars, together with the barangay representatives and Adviser Ray Niño A. Comendador, conducted their first monthly organizational meeting via Google Meet. The meeting served as a platform for discussing proposals, plans, and initiatives aimed at strengthening the organization and supporting its scholars and the community.
The meeting was presided over by Federation President Jassen J. Baranggot which focused on three main agendas which are: Federation President’s proposals, the discussion of Plans, Programs, and Activities (PPAs), and other matters.
Several initiatives were tackled during the Federation President’s Proposals including the establishment of calendar of activities to ensure that the organization’s events and programs are properly scheduled and organized. Next was the feeding programs which seeks to extend support not only to the children in the community but also to stray animals in Tagoloan. Moreover, community linkages and partnerships was also discussed, aiming to strengthen collaboration across barangay councils for future activities and community initiatives.
The Federation President also proposed the establishment of a publication team to ensure proper documentation and coverage of the organization’s future events and activities. Meanwhile, a community group page was proposed to provide a unified platform where Padayon Iskolars can stay connected and informed, making sure that no scholar will be left behind.
Lastly, a major project was presented during the discussion which was the creation of a Padayon Iskolar History Documentary. It aims to showcase the journey and milestones of the Padayon Iskolars of Tagoloan, providing an avenue for new and future members to learn about the organization’s roots, development, and legacy.
During the PPAs discussion, the federation officers and barangay representatives actively shared their ideas for future initiatives. Among the highlighted proposals were the Iskolar Tracker which aims to regularly monitor scholars’ academic performance and participation to ensure that they remain in good standing. This was followed by the Padayon Learning Caravan which seeks to provide learning support and educational activities for children in the community. And lastly, the Project LEAD, which aims to provide scholars with opportunities to learn, be empowered, pursue their aspirations, and develop their skills and potential.
Following the discussion of the PPAs, the adviser provided insights and recommendations that guided the federation officers in determining which programs should be implemented, prioritized, and further strengthened. These recommendations also helped ensure that the proposed initiatives is aligned to the needs of the scholars and with the organization's goals.
The recently concluded meeting reflected the collaboration of the federation officers and barangay representatives in shaping programs for the scholars. Through these proposed initiatives, the organization aims to continue building an organized, connected, and engaged community while creating meaningful opportunities that support the growth and development of its scholars.
