to get a deeper look at the important features and benefits of our very own LMS. You can choose a schedule that is most convenient for you.

We hope everyone had a restful vacation with family, friends, and loved ones despite our country’s encounter with the COVID-19 pandemic.

Last semester, the pandemic has challenged our ability to ensure the continuity of learning and continually adjust and recalibrate to a new form of learning. The transition from the traditional classroom to an innovative learning environment as well as integrating traditional learning methods presented numerous challenges as we had to bridge the gap that remote learning created.

Throughout 1st Semester, we made a conscious effort in finding a suitable LMS to make this transition as smooth as possible for the students for the upcoming semester. As we progress through the second semester, we are now confident to say that we're all set.

We look forward to serving you and making sure you have a successful semester as we embrace new challenges with opportunities for you to grow. Hopefully, as change continues, Canvas LMS will serve as our vehicle to the future.

Last April 17, in Executive Order No. 25, Davao City Mayor Sara Duterte declared a period of mourning and vigilance until the end of this year, 2020. It is in emphasis for the need to show sympathy for the families of frontliners who have succumbed to the battle against COVID-19 and empathy for those who are suffering and will continue to suffer the aftereffects of the pandemic.

On the same day, the last batch of small tokens of appreciation in the form of fresh fruits and dietary supplements were given to our frontliners at Southern Philippines Medical Center (SPMC). A decent amount of PPE cover-all suits were also provided through the initiative of Sis Almarie Faicol, a nurse at the Orthopedics Department.

The UP Latagaw-Brotherhood and UP Lamdag-Sisterhood would like to thank those who contributed much for the success of this undertaking. We would also like to send our high regard and appreciation alongside Sis Almarie, Physicians, Sis Shendy Dal and Brad Kliendio Rovillos who are also at SPMC fighting againts the increasing cases of Covid-19 in the region.

We salute all our healthcare providers and frontliners for your commitment towards your mission to safeguard the health of the Filipino people! You are our heroes!

On behalf of the UP LLS residents, we would like to extend our heartfelt thanks for your recent contribution to the fundraiser, Far From Home, which concluded last April 15, 2020. This initiative could not have been a success without the collective effort of the UP LLS Alumni despite the challenges in logistics and mobilization. May your kind hearts be rewarded with love and joy through these trying times.

Keep the flame burning, Latagaw-Lamdag Forever!

We hope this finds you in good health.

The UP Latagaw-Lamdag Society (UP LLS) is initiating a food donation drive for the 41 stranded students of UP Mindanao who are currently away from their families and were unable to go home early on due to lockdowns in their respective hometowns, as well as due to the heightened risk of catching or becoming a carrier for the virus.

We urge you to help with in-kind or monetary donations for the basic needs of these students. The current inventory of provisions from previous donations is depleting and the recently announced enhanced community quarantine (ECQ) in Davao City further restricts these students from travelling home to their families.

Aside from food items, the students are also in need of the following: toiletries, alcohol, cleaning materials, cooking
condiments, and dietary supplements.

For Cash Donations:
Kindly send your monetary donations through the following channels listed below. Please feel free to inquire for other methods as well.
