Today, we begin the sacred season of Lent with Ash Wednesday—a time of reflection, repentance, and renewal of faith. As we receive ashes, we are reminded of humility, life’s purpose, and the call to return to God with sincere hearts.

May this day encourage each one of us to pause, pray, and reflect on how we can grow spiritually and become kinder, stronger, and more compassionate toward others. Let us also support one another as we journey through this season together.

The former officers of the Monkayo Peer Support Group proudly took part in the Oath-Taking Ceremony for Professional Teachers held at the University of Mindanao–Matina Campus in Davao City. This significant event marked an important milestone in their journey as newly licensed educators, symbolizing the fulfillment of years of dedication, hard work, and perseverance. Standing among fellow passers, they embraced the moment with a deep sense of gratitude and achievement, knowing that this ceremony was more than a formal gathering, it was the beginning of their official role in the teaching profession.

The oath-taking served as a meaningful reminder of the responsibilities that come with being a professional teacher.
