Project i4j Partnerships for Integrity & Job Creation It is currently on its piloting phase implemented at 9 local government units from Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao.

Partnerships for Integrity and Job Creation or Project I4J is a three-year project which aims to develop sustainable integrity mechanisms and models of transparent, effective small business registration and promotion procedures at the local level. iftung is implemented by a consortium composed of Konrad-Adenauer Stiftung (Philippines), the European Chamber of Commerce of the Philippines, the Centrist Democracy Political Institute, the League of Provinces, the League of Municipalities and the League of Cities of the Philippines. The municipalities of Naujan,Tuburan and the Iranun cluster (Barira, Matanog, Parang and Buldon) are the pilot municipalities. Puerto Princesa City, San Carlos City and Cagayan de Oro City are the pilot cities and the provinces of Oriental Mindoro, Cebu and South Cotabato are the pilot provinces. The models that will be developed and implemented at these places will be disseminated to other LGUs.

Our Story

LoGIC Network is a collaborative platform of Local Government Units, Business Sector and Civil Society Organizations committed in advancing the most innovative, efficient and effective integrity mechanisms to address local development needs. It provides tested programs, systems and tools that can effectively assist its members achieve high standard of ethics and increase competitiveness.

The LoGIC Network is building up on the partner structure and results of the formerly implemented project I4J or Partnerships for Integrity and Job Creation that ended in March 2017. In cooperation with the three local government leagues, Project I4J worked intensively with nine pilot LGUs on the development of integrity mechanisms and models of transparent and effective small business and investment registration and promotion procedures. The pilot LGUs were selected across Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao and were divided into three cities, three municipalities, and three provinces.

Currently, the LoGIC Network is implementing a project on “Developing Countrywide a Culture of Integrity through Multi-sectoral Local Government Integrity Circles.” The project’s overall objective is to contribute to a culture of integrity in Local Government Units (LGUs) all over the Philippines. The European Union and the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development are co-financing the project. It is implemented by a Consortium led by the Konrad Adenauer Stiftung. The other members of the consortium are the European Chamber of Commerce of the Philippines (ECCP), the Centrist Democracy Political Institute (CDPI), League of Cities of the Philippines (LCP), League of Provinces of the Philippines (LPP), and the League of Municipalities of the Philippines (LMP).
