SSLG, together with the Girl Scouts of the Philippines (GSP) and Barkada Kontra Droga (BKD) leads the 𝙉𝙤 𝙩𝙤 𝙑𝙖𝙥𝙚 𝘾𝙖𝙢𝙥𝙖𝙞𝙜𝙣.

Response to recent incidents involving learners bringing v**e devices to school, members of the SSLG, GSP and BKD distributed informational flyers to raise awareness about how harmful va**ng truly is, they want to educate students about the health risks and the dangers of this habit. Let's 𝘢𝘷𝘰𝘪𝘥 v**e devices, given that they cause harm not only to individuals but also to their peers.

REVIEWHAN SA PAARALAN: Volunteer Student Teacher Registration

Do you have the passion to teach and inspire your fellow FHSians?

The Fortune High School Supreme Secondary Learner Government (SSLG) is now looking for Volunteer Student Teachers who are willing to share their knowledge and help fellow learners prepare for the 1st Term Examination.

We are looking for eight (8) Volunteer Student Teachers PER GRADE LEVEL, assigned as follows:

📖 English – 2 Student Teachers
🧮 Mathematics – 2 Student Teachers
🔬 Science – 2 Student Teachers
🌏 Araling Panlipunan (AP) – 2 Student Teachers

Selected Volunteer Student Teachers will:

✅ Teach only the subject they applied for.
✅ Review First Term lessons with fellow FHSians.
✅ Facilitate both Batch 1 and Batch 2 together with the other Student Teachers in their grade level.

Each batch will consist of 15 tutees. The eight (8) Volunteer Student Teachers will work together to facilitate the review sessions, with each Student Teacher teaching only the subject they applied for.

A separate Google Form for learners who wish to join the program as Tutees will be posted one week before the 1st Term Examination.

Applicants who are selected will be notified through the email address or contact number provided in their registration form. Selected Volunteer Student Teachers will also be invited to attend a program orientation and will be required to submit a Parent/Guardian Consent Form before participating in the review sessions.

On July 24, 2026, SSLG actively supported the 𝗚𝗔𝗗 𝗦𝘆𝗺𝗽𝗼𝘀𝗶𝘂𝗺 𝗼𝗻 𝗦𝗮𝗳𝗲 𝗦𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗹𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗔𝗻𝘁𝗶-𝗕𝘂𝗹𝗹𝘆𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗖𝗮𝗺𝗽𝗮𝗶𝗴𝗻 by assisting in the distribution of snacks.

We stand alongside the entire school community to help make this program meaningful and successful, as we work together to build a more optimistic, safe, and integrated environment for every learner.

UPDATE | SSLG released a new emblem.
𝗡𝗲𝘄 𝗹𝗼𝗼𝗸, 𝘀𝗮𝗺𝗲 𝗵𝗲𝗮𝗿𝘁, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝘂𝗻𝗶𝗳𝗶𝗲𝗱. 𝗦𝗵𝗼𝘄𝗰𝗮𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗻𝗲𝘄 𝗹𝗼𝗴𝗼❗

This new logo is more than just a design—it stands for our determination and stimulus to protect, disseminate knowledge, unite every learner, and build a brighter community. ✨

The symbols carry intense, intellectually deep, or emotionally moving significance.
Our reimagined logo is just the same as our 𝘮𝘪𝘴𝘴𝘪𝘰𝘯 for every learner. If one piece is left out, it is not complete.

LOOK | On July 4, 2026, DepEd Marikina City held a conference at the grounds of Concepcion Elementary School, which not only became a venue but "𝘢 𝘤𝘳𝘰𝘴𝘴𝘳𝘰𝘢𝘥𝘴 𝘰𝘧 𝘩𝘰𝘱𝘦, 𝘳𝘦𝘴𝘱𝘰𝘯𝘴𝘪𝘣𝘪𝘭𝘪𝘵𝘺, 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘤𝘰𝘶𝘳𝘢𝘨𝘦." A mobile advocacy program by the Philippine Department of Education (DepEd) was introduced: 𝙇𝙚𝙖𝙧𝙣𝙚𝙧 𝙍𝙞𝙜𝙝𝙩𝙨 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙋𝙧𝙤𝙩𝙚𝙘𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣 𝙤𝙣 𝙒𝙝𝙚𝙚𝙡𝙨: 𝘼𝙬𝙖𝙧𝙚𝙣𝙚𝙨𝙨 𝘼𝙙𝙫𝙤𝙘𝙖𝙘𝙮 𝙋𝙧𝙤𝙜𝙧𝙖𝙢, driven not just by engine but by the promise to keep every learner safe, respected, and free to learn.

Various SELG and SSLG officers, student government advisers, learner formation officers, guidance counselors, teachers, members of the Technical Working Group and committed catalysts, assembled together. Representing different schools, yet they are bound by a single purpose: 𝘱𝘳𝘰𝘮𝘪𝘴𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘵𝘰 𝘨𝘶𝘢𝘳𝘥 𝘭𝘦𝘢𝘳𝘯𝘦𝘳𝘴. This action keeps their dreams safe and lights up a brighter, bolder future they can look forward to.

Through this mobile program, DepEd Marikina City brought education and inspiration closer to pupils, sparking commitment and vision.
