Today's the thirty-seventh anniversary of the EDSA People Power, where Filipinos gathered to uprise against injustices and human rights violations without the use of violence but by exercising our democracy as a nation.

Let us pause and offer our silences to the nuns, journalists, writers, teachers, and many other people who shouted their bravery in the rebellion for the better tomorrow of the Filipinos.

We, The PATTS Social Sciences Society, extend our deepest respects to the people who hoped and cried in EDSA. They showed us what determination and democracy could do.
