Leadership, Legacy, and Excellence ⚜️

For a decade and a half, the spirit of scouting in our institution has been shaped by exceptional youth leaders. At the heart of this journey is the Junior Institutional Coordinator (JIC).

The Junior Institutional Coordinator (JIC) isn't just a title, it's the voice of the entire Senior Scout body and the Senior Crew Leader of the unit, these individuals shoulder the responsibility of leading the whole school's senior scouting program by example.

We highlight the JICs and their notable achievements, looking back into the remarkable journey of our Former JICs who paved the way, and our Current JIC who carries the torch forward with pride.

Guided by the dedicated mentorship of Scout Leader, Analiza Hechanova, these leaders continue to raise the bar for scouting, proof that true leadership is passed from one dedicated generation to the next.

Honoring the past, leading the future 🇵🇭

Last June 12, as we celebrated the 128th anniversary of our nation's independence, the JASHS-SSU proudly joined the commemoration. JASHS-SSU pledge to keep the spirit of freedom alive—not just by remembering our history, but through our active service to the community.

BE PART OF THE SCOUTING MOVEMENT ⚜️

June 10, 2026, JASHS Senior Scouting Unit together with The JASHS Girl Scouts and Jose Abad Santos Rover Circle 14 joined the Club Fair and met lots of students who stopped by our booth to ask questions, look around, and get to know what scouting is really about. It was nice seeing familiar and new faces interested in joining the unit.

Thank you to everyone who visited and showed support! Being in scouting is not just about uniforms and activities — it’s also about learning new things, meeting good people, and making memories you’ll always look back on. See you, future scouts! 😉⚜️
