“When we respond, we love.”

Do we know how to love?

Our first session at Tahanan ng Mabuting Pastol invited us to reflect on the call that God places in each of our hearts.

We are all called in different ways, and every calling asks for a response. But saying yes to God does not mean that the journey will always be easy. There will be moments of uncertainty, sacrifice, fear, and challenges that will test our faith.

In these moments, we look to Mary.

Mary said yes to God without knowing everything that awaited her. She embraced her calling with faith and remained faithful through every challenge that came her way. Her life reminds us that a true yes is not only spoken once. It is a yes that we continue to live, especially when the journey becomes difficult.

May we learn from Mary to recognize God’s call, trust His plan, face every challenge with courage, and respond with a heart willing to love and serve.

Like Mary, may our answer always be a faithful yes.

With grateful hearts, we proudly introduce the Vocation Nurturing Cycle Club of Saint Augustine School, Mendez, Cavite.

Our club seeks to nurture young agustinians hearts through prayer, formation, service, and discernment. Allowing each member to learn and grow closer to Christ and become more aware to His call.

Inspired by Samuel’s response to God, we believe that every vocation begins with a heart that is willing to listen. Before we know what Gods plan, we first learn to recognize His voice, discern His will, and trust Him enough to take the next step regardless of what challenges that we might face.

Our First Orientation, marks the beginning of our journey as a club. It is our first step on understanding vocation, actions with discernment and learning how we can respond to Christ’s call through our lives and service.

We begin with an open heart, a willing spirit, an ear ready to listen and a desire to know Christ more deeply.

Listen. Discern. Follow.
Big or small, every step matters when God is the center.

Today, we celebrate the Feast of St. John Marie Vianney, a brilliant witness to faith, humility, and unwavering devotion.

St. John Vianney’s path to the priesthood was far from easy. He faced severe disruptions during the French Revolution, struggled with limited education, and even evaded conscription into Napoleon's army. Yet, despite hiding alongside fellow deserters and confronting immense hardship, his calling never faltered. Following his ordination, he began his transformative ministry in Écully, France, and later in the small town of Ars—changing countless lives along the way.

His extraordinary journey reminds us that God’s love can transform even the most humble circumstances into extraordinary blessings. St. John Vianney inspires us to embrace sincere prayer and selfless service, proving that simple acts of love and devotion can truly ignite the world.

St. John Marie Vianney, pray for us and for all our priests. May they be inspired by your holy dedication, guiding their flock with the same fervent love, wisdom, and humility that defined your life. 🙏✨

VNC Club proudly participated in the Club Fair, sharing our passion, goals, and activities with fellow students.

Session 3: Prayer & Discernment in Silence

On November 8, the selected members of Vocation Nurturing Circle, gathered for their first-ever face-to-face VNC Formation entitled “Session 3: Prayer & Discernment in Silence.” Students were taught that in silence, they connect deeply with Lord, allowing hearts and minds to be focused on Him through prayer and faith. Through constant prayer, let us remain faithful, building a strong foundation of faith that leads us to know God more.

Siya at ang paalala na ang bokasyon ay isang tawag ng pag-ibig, sakripisyo at, at paglilingkod.

Ngayong araw, ipinagdiriwang natin ang kanyang kapistahan.
