College Red Cross Youth Council (CRCYC) conducted a Program of Instruction (POI) on Fire Safety Awareness, Basic First Aid, Basic Life Support, Patient Transport and Fire and Earthquake Drill together with the Bureau of Fire Protection – Cawayan Unit headed by SFO4 Romel T. Ragasa.

Participated by selected officers from different organizations with the guidance of Mr. Anthony V. Alimonsurin the CRCYC Adviser, and Dr. Novy R. Clores the Cawayan Campus Director.

Fire safety awareness, basic first aid, basic life support, patient transport also fire and earthquake drill have been discussed and performed through the support of BFP R5 Cawayan. These informations are relevant not just for the students, and teachers but for everyone, to be prepared in times of emergency and disasters.

The College Red Cross Youth Council- DEBESMSCAT Cawayan Campus Chapter will be conducting a bayanihan on February 24, 2023 (whole day). This will help the school to achieve clean surroundings and promote unity among students.

The following are the identified materials by the chairpersons needed to be brought by the students under each institution:

Education department
• sundang by pair
• guna (individual)
• sako (7 per section)
• walis tingting (5 per section)
• misitas (by pair)
• pala (1 per section)
• poste (1 pc per student 1.5 m)
• lipak (5 pcs per student 1.5 m)

IT department
• haligi (2 pcs from 1st to 3rd year)
• kawayan (3 pcs per section)
• sundang (1 pc per section)
• martilyo (1 pc per section)
• misitas (by pair)
• sako (5 pcs per section)
• silhig (5 pcs per section)
• poste (1 pc per student 1.5 m)
• lipak ( 5 pcs per student 1.5 m)

Agriculture department
• poste (1 pc per student 1.5 m)
• lipak (5 pcs per student 1.5 m)

On Valentine's Day, CRCYC will be having a flower and chocolate booth where you can buy stuff to give to your special someone to express your love. And if you don't want to know your identity to someone you want to give the flowers or chocolate, the officers will be the ones to deliver.
