Our Meritxell kids enjoyed our much-awaited annual swimming outing. This event is a special tradition that our girls and houseparents look forward to every summer as a fun way to beat the heat and simply enjoy being children.

What made the day even more memorable was seeing our newly-referred 3- and 4-year-olds bravely jumping into the pool and swimming like little fish! Their joy and laughter made it a truly wonderful day for everyone.

With the continuously rising costs of food, utilities, and daily living expenses, we were not sure if we would still be able to hold this year’s outing.

Then suddenly, everything fell into place!
A generous offer of Jollibee meals from Ella & Tommy Reyes , a donation from Delia & the kindness of Marit & Boni in allowing us to use the pool at the Cobo Pavilion made the day possible!

Because of your generosity, our girls were able to create happy childhood memories filled with laughter, sunshine & swimming!

Thank you for helping make moments like these possible for the children of Meritxell. 💕

Good behavior deserves to be encouraged and celebrated!

Today, the girls enjoyed fishballs as a simple reward for showing kindness, respect and responsibility throughout the week. Small treats can go a long way in reminding children that positive choices and good behavior matter.

At Meritxell, we continue to nurture not only learning, but also good character, self-discipline, and consideration for others! 💕

From the excitement of being picked up by van from our home, to arriving in Ateneo and meeting children from other homes, it’s always a day filled with fun and unforgettable memories.

The girls had so much fun playing basketball, volleyball, and dancing!

For over ten years now, the Ates and Kuyas from Tugon Ateneo have been visiting, guiding, and supporting our girls with so much dedication and heart.
