We are deeply honored to receive a Plaque of Appreciation from the Schools Division Office (SDO) of Marikina City during the Stakeholders Convergence 2026 – “Soirée With Partners.”

This recognition celebrates Vineyard of His Grace Ministries Inc. as one of SDO Marikina’s valued partners, acknowledging our continued contributions toward supporting schools and promoting the well-being, development, and educational needs of learners.

On 28 June 2026 at 9:00 a.m., Vineyard facilitated the CoMSCA Cluster Summit in the Bicol Region, bringing together Community Managed Savings and Credit Association (CoMSCA) members and community representatives from participating areas. The summit served as a platform to provide updates on CoMSCA policies, reinforce the principles and standards of the programme, and encourage continued commitment to transparent and accountable group management. Participants also had the opportunity to exchange experiences, celebrate achievements, and discuss practical strategies for strengthening the sustainability of their associations.

In addition, two separate CoMSCA Orientation Sessions were conducted to expand the programme's reach and engage prospective members. The first orientation was held on 27 June 2026 at 2:00 p.m. in Barangay Dunao, followed by a second session on 28 June 2026 at 2:00 p.m. in Barangay Nasisi, both in the Bicol Region. These orientations introduced community members to the objectives, core principles and operating procedures of CoMSCA, while emphasising the value of collective savings, responsible borrowing, financial discipline and mutual accountability. Participants were encouraged to actively participate in the programme and recognise the long-term benefits of community-led financial inclusion.

Overall, the Cluster Summit and orientation sessions contributed to strengthening existing CoMSCA groups while laying the foundation for programme expansion in new communities. The positive participation and engagement demonstrated the growing commitment of community members to building sustainable, self-managed savings groups that promote financial empowerment and inclusive community development.

On June 12, 2026, around 170 participants from our partner communities in Towerville (Bulacan), Balubad-Nangka (Marikina), Bicol, Santa Rosa and Biñan (Laguna), and Antipolo (Rizal) gathered at the DTI NCRO-Marikina for the CoMSCA National Summit 2026 with the theme:
"Building Resilient Communities Through Savings, Livelihood, Leadership, and Partnerships."

The summit served as a platform for learning, collaboration, and celebration as participants reviewed CoMSCA policies, discussed updates on Memorandum Circular No. 1, Series of 2025, and reflected on the growth of our savings groups through the latest membership and share-out data.

We were honored to hear from our partners at the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) about accessible programs and services available to our beneficiaries, while representatives from Bank of Makati shared valuable information on loan opportunities for MSMEs. A significant milestone of the event was the signing of the Memorandum of Understanding between Vineyard of His Grace Ministries Inc. and DTI Marikina, strengthening our commitment to empowering communities through sustainable development initiatives.

The summit also celebrated the outstanding achievements of individuals and groups whose dedication, leadership, and commitment have greatly contributed to the success of the CoMSCA project in their communities.

In response to the recent crisis, Vineyard extended timely support by providing rice subsidies to beneficiaries, ensuring that families had access to essential food supplies during a difficult period. Beyond material aid, Vineyard also seized the opportunity to engage directly with parents and children, fostering dialogue on the importance of safeguarding young lives through the child protection policy and reinforcing awareness of PSEAH. On May 9, 2026, the Citizen Voice and Action Summit gathered at Nangka Barangay Hall, Marikina City, as a vibrant annual tradition of sharing, learning, and celebrating community impact. CVA groups from target areas presented their implemented projects, offering a rich exchange of best practices and honest reflections on the challenges encountered. This year’s summit also highlighted the formation of youth groups, strengthening and enhancing existing initiatives to ensure continuity and fresh energy in community work. Volunteers were commended for their unwavering dedication, as their efforts over the past year became the backbone of meaningful progress. Anchored on the theme “Empowered CVA Groups Leading Sustainable Community Impact”, the gathering underscored that empowerment is not just about capacity—it is about cultivating ownership, resilience, and collaboration. In Balubad, Marikina, the children from Grades 1 to 4 were given a joyful boost in learning through a tutorial session on numeracy and prepositions of time and place. What made this initiative extra meaningful was that it was led by the youth who had just come from the Vineyard Youth Camp 2026, carrying with them the advocacy of bridging educational gaps in their own little way. With patience and creativity, they guided the young learners to strengthen their basic math skills and grasp the foundations of language, showing that empowerment is not only about big platforms but also about small acts of service.

This effort is only the beginning; many more sessions will follow, each one a spark of hope that institutions and communities, hand in hand with the youth, can continue to bridge the educational gap and nurture a future where no child is left behind.
