📌 Must be a bona fide learner of Marikina Science High School in the current school year;
📌 Must be a member/officer of MariSci YES-O in the current school year and will remain in the organization for S.Y. 2026–2027;
📌 Must not hold any executive position in the Supreme Secondary Learner’s Government (SSLG); and
📌 Must possess good moral character, courage, respect, responsibility, accountability, and diligence in accomplishing assigned tasks.

Every day, the Philippines produces around 61,000 tons of solid waste, with nearly a quarter made of plastic, placing serious pressure on our forests, rivers, and seas 🌏. As our population grows, so does our responsibility to protect the environment.

This January, we observe Solid Waste Management Month ♻️, also known as Zero Waste Month, a nationwide reminder that caring for the Earth begins with how we manage our waste 🌱. It is a time for communities, schools, organizations, and leaders to promote waste segregation, reduction, reuse, recycling, and composting—simple actions that make a lasting impact on our planet.

Across the Philippines, greener solutions continue to grow 🌿. Government agencies, local communities, and environmental organizations work together to strengthen waste management systems, support barangay recycling and composting programs, encourage upcycling, and build environmental responsibility among Filipinos.

The Earth needs more hands and more hearts. Come and take part, eco-warriors, because we are the generation that chooses responsibility over waste and action over apathy—for a cleaner Philippines, healthier ecosystems, and a sustainable future ♻️🌱.
