👉Global Goal: Zero human deaths from dog-mediated rabies by 2030 (Zero by 30)

👉Significance: Marks the anniversary of Louis Pasteur's death; he developed the first effective rabies vaccine.

👉Core Focus Areas Collaboration: Uniting local communities, veterinarians, healthcare workers, and governments.

👉Animal Vaccination: Expanding access to dog vaccinations to cut transmission at the source.

👉Surveillance: Improving tracking and reporting systems for better One Health coordination.

📍PREVENTION AND FIRST AID📍
💉Vaccinate Pets: Keep 🐕dogs and 🐈‍⬛cats up to date on routine rabies shots.

👏Wash Wounds: Thoroughly wash any animal bite or scratch with soap and running water for at least 15 minutes.

✍️Seek Care: Treat animal bites as a medical emergency and get post-exposure prophylaxis (PEP) immediately.

Si Bulag, isang rescue cat na galing sa aming school, ay kasalukuyang naka-confine na sa Petish Marikina dahil kailangan niya ng medical attention. 🙏

Nakagawa na rin po siya ng Blood Chemistry bilang bahagi ng kanyang pagsusuri at pangangalaga. Sa ngayon, umaabot na sa ₱4,000 ang kanyang bill.

Kaya po kami ay humihingi ng kaunting tulong para sa medical expenses ni Bulag. Kahit magkano po, malaking tulong na para maipagpatuloy ang kanyang gamutan at confinement. ❤️
