WATCH: GUARDING THE FRONTLINES OF NURSES’ RIGHTS

Dr. Monalinda M. Macawadib, PhD, RN, President of the PNA Marawi City and Lanao del Sur Chapter, attended the ANG NARS Inc., seminar entitled “ANG NARS WATCH: Guarding the Frontlines of Nurses’ Rights: Empowered Nurses. Stronger Profession. Stronger Nation” held on May 30, 2026, at Palma Hall, Universidad de Manila, Ermita, Manila.

The seminar brought together nursing leaders and professionals to strengthen awareness and advocacy on nurses’ rights, professional recognition, leadership, and employment security. Key discussions included:

• The Legal Shield: Defending Nurses’ Rights through RA 9173
• The Collective Voice: Advancing Economic Justice and Professional Recognition
• Claiming the Seat: Elevating Nurses in Healthcare Leadership and Governance
