Rise 1Bangsamoro: Muslim Organizations Launch Historic Coalition for Inday Sara Duterte
On May 31, 2026, at Kalayaan Hall, Club Filipino, San Juan City, the 1Bangsamoro National Coalition for Sara was officially launched before a historic assembly of Muslim organizations united from BARMM and Bangsamoro communities across every region of the Philippines. Spearheaded by the One Bangsamoro Movement (1Bangsa), the coalition proudly stands behind Vice President Inday Sara Duterte, rallying under the cry: "Ibalik ang Tapang at Malasakit, Ngayon, Para sa Lahat ng Bangsamoro." The grand launching was graced by distinguished guests who lent their presence and voice to a cause that belongs not only to the Bangsamoro but to every Filipino who still believes in courage, compassion, and genuine public service through accountability, justice, and peace.
The Office of the Vice President Sara Duterte was officially represented by former Batangas Vice Governor Mark Leviste, whose presence carried the unmistakable message that Inday Sara stands with the Bangsamoro people in this defining moment. Joining him were former Ilocos Sur Governor Luis "Manong Chavit" Singson, who has publicly and unequivocally declared his full support for Vice President Sara Duterte, Senator Robin Padilla, however, who brought the crowd to its feet with a thundering reminder rooted in centuries of history: "Ang Bangsamoro ay hindi nagpasakop sa Espanyol, hindi nagpasakop sa Amerikano, at lalo na hindi magpapasakop sa sariling Pilipino.", and former COMELEC Commissioner Atty. Rowena Guanzon, who declared that in all her decades in public life she has never witnessed a government as riddled with corruption as the present one, and that it is precisely for this reason that her support for Vice President Sara Duterte is firm and unwavering. Their collective presence at this Bangsamoro gathering sent a powerful signal to the nation that the coalition behind Inday Sara is broad, deep, and growing by the day.
It was Vice President Sara Duterte who first exposed the corruption in government that has since consumed Congress and shaken the very foundations of the current administration, and it is this courage that the 1Bangsamoro National Coalition for Sara was built to honor and defend the nation. The Bangsamoro people, long counted among this nation's minorities and long tested by conflict, poverty, and neglect, rise today not out of blind loyalty but out of a deep and sincere conviction that this is the leader who sees them, hears them, and refuses to be silenced for them. The coalition's message to the nation is clear and unequivocal: No to a weaponized impeachment, No to self-serving Charter Change, and yes to full accountability for the biggest corruption scandal in Philippine history, and yes to a Philippines where the Bangsamoro and every forgotten Filipino finally belongs.
