πŸŒˆπŸƒβ€β™‚οΈ AKIC FUN RUN 2025 β€” SUCCESSFULLY DONE! πŸƒβ€β™€οΈπŸŒˆ

What an unforgettable and colorful morning! πŸ’›πŸ’™ Last, Saturday, December 13, 2025. Our day started at 5:00 AM with attendance, followed by an energizing Zumba session at 6:00 AM led by Mr. Farhan Palawan. After warming up, runners gathered at Rice Mill to officially start the run.

Along the route, participants encountered exciting stations:

🏁 Station 1: Tire jumping blocks (Minute Burger area)
🏁 Station 2: 3-line jumping (Soar High, Upper Awar)
🏁 Station 3: Kalamansi whistle
🏁 Station 4: Jumping rope

Runners who completed all four stations collected four ribbons, qualifying them as top runners and championship contenders.

Some students and outsiders chose to just run without joining the stations, and that was totally okay, your participation still made the event meaningful and lively. 🫢

We awarded 150 runner medals to finishers.

πŸ’¦ After the run, everyone enjoyed a refreshing water splash by the Bureau of Fire Protection from Provincial Capitol, Marawi City which brought extra fun and excitement to the event. After that, participants gathered again for another round of Zumba, followed by the Top Runners Awarding and exciting raffles.

πŸŽ‰ Congratulations to all our Top Runners and Raffle Winners! We wish you all success and hope to see you again in our next Fun Run.

On behalf of the RC AKICFI- Main Campus,
We express our deepest gratitude to all the visitors and Khwarizmians for joining us, we were truly happy to have you and are looking forward to running with you again soon.

πŸ’ Our heartfelt thanks to our Leadership Institute (L.I.) adviser, Ms. Jamilah-Hakimah B. Umpa, for creating and guiding this amazing Fun Run experience, and to Sir Albanie M. Cabugatan, SSC adviser and Chairperson of Education Department for collaborating with us together with the Supreme Student Council officers.

🀍 Thank you as well to all L.I members and aspirants, this success would not be possible without your dedication and teamwork.

Until the next run.
Thank you, Al Khwarizmians πŸ’™

With the theme β€œEffective Team Building: Empowering Leaders to Lead with Agility in a Changing World,” the Leadership Institute Aspirants successfully conducted their Phase 3: Leadership Seminar-Workshop held at AKIC SLS, Sarimanok, Marawi City. This phase marks another meaningful milestone in the aspirants’ journey as they continue to learn, grow, and embrace the true essence of leadership. πŸ’‘

The event was honored with the presence of our esteemed guest speaker, Mr. Noroden M. H. Monaim, a passionate youth leader, communicator, and peacebuilder from Lanao del Sur. His full of wisdom discussions reminded everyone that β€œpeace begins with empowered youth.” He emphasized that real leadership is not measured by authority but by compassion, understanding, and the courage to serve others. His talk truly moved the participants, leaving them inspired to lead with both heart and purpose. 🌿✨

Throughout the seminar, the participants actively engaged in discussions, reflections, and group activities that tested not only their teamwork but also their intrapersonal skills, patience, respect, and adaptability. Every moment reflected the spirit of collaboration and learning, where each participant contributed ideas and supported one another to grow.

We extend our deepest gratitude to Mr. Noroden M. H. Monaim for sharing his wisdom, experience, and passion for leadership and peacebuilding. Your words have ignited a deeper sense of purpose in every aspirant and participant.

A huge thank you as well to our Leadership Institute members and alumni for taking the time to attend, guide, and support the aspirants throughout the event. Your presence and encouragement truly motivated them to perform their best. πŸ’›πŸ’™

πŸ“Œ LOOK | LEADERSHIP INSTITUTE PHASE (2) TWO

The L.I Aspirants once again showed the true meaning of teamwork and dedication as they worked together on their tangible project a wooden chair made for all Khwarizmians. πŸͺ‘βœ¨

Each aspirant played their part, some were cutting and arranging the wood, others focused on measurements and design, while a few led the planning and guided their team. It was inspiring to see how they turned ideas into action with patience, respect, and unity.

We, the Leadership Institute members, alumni, and our Adviser Ma’am Jamilah-Hakimah Umpa,LPT,MAEd, had the privilege to witness and evaluate their creations as part of their Phase 2: Intrapersonal Development Task. Their efforts truly reflected leadership in action, not just in words, but through teamwork and shared purpose.

Alhamdulillah, the aspirants successfully completed their wooden chair project in just one day a symbol of their unity, hard work, and service to the Khwarizmians community.

An unexpected but meaningful invitation from MSU KFCIAAS led us to attend an Intra-Faith Seminar on Peacebuilding and Leadership held at the Shariah Center, in partnership with UNDP.

As part of the Leadership Institute Organization, we were grateful to take part in this unique experience where faith leaders and students came together to reflect on the role of ulama in promoting peace and leadership in our communities.

One of the highlights was an interactive activity using a simple panyo (towel) yet it opened powerful conversations about connection, understanding, and how we interpret leadership in action.

We were later grouped to discuss an important question:
β€œWhat is the key development of impact in dialogue in Marawi, BARMM, and the Philippines?”
It was a moment of real reflection, shared learning, and hope.

Thank you for having us. May this be one of many steps toward a more peaceful future.
