The Manila Legacy Crown Lions Club: Paving the Way for Community Sustainability

In today's fast-paced world, it is easy to get caught up in our daily lives and lose sight of the needs of our community. This is where organizations like the Manila Legacy Crown Lions Club (MLCLC) step in. They has been actively working towards creating a sustainable and inclusive community for all. And last June 10, 2026, the club had the honor of having a courtesy call with the Mayor of Norzagaray Bulacan, Hon. Merlyn Gernar, to discuss their upcoming community sustainability project on June 27,2026.

The meeting, led by the MLCLC President, Dr. Michael Kevin Eustaquio, Vice President Joy Entusiasmo, and other officers Cherry Pagodpod, Juhanie Cabañero, Julius Salahog, and Jose Lius, focused on the club's latest endeavor to help the Dumagat community and D**e Elementary School. The project aims to provide sustainable solutions to the community's needs, such as access to clean water, education, and livelihood opportunities.

The Dumagat community, located in Sitio D**e and Sitio Manalo, Barangay San Lorenzo, Norzagaray Bulacan. The MLCLC recognized this and, with the help of Mayor Maria Elena "Merlyn" Germar of Norzagaray, Bulacan and the local government, is now working towards making a positive impact in the community.

During the courtesy call, the MLCLC also had the pleasure of meeting with the National Commission for Indigenous People (NCIP) and Barangay Captain Hon. Josephine De Mesa. The MLCLC shared their plans for the project and expressed their eagerness to collaborate with these organizations to better understand the needs of the Dumagat community and ensure the project's success.

One of the highlights of the courtesy call was the ocular visitation to the Dumagat community. The MLCLC, together with the President and other Barangay official, personally went to Sitio D**e and Sitio Manalo to see the community's current living conditions. The visit not only provided a better understanding of the community's needs but also allowed the MLCLC to connect with the locals and build a rapport with them.

The project for the Dumagat community is a testament to the club's commitment to creating a sustainable and inclusive society. This project does not only address the immediate needs of the community, but it also aims to empower them in the long run. Through this project, the Manila Legacy Crown Lions Club is not just providing help; they are creating a path towards a better and more promising future for the Dumagat community.

We can all learn a valuable lesson from the MLCLC's community sustainability project that it only takes a small group of passionate individuals to make a difference. By coming together and working towards a common goal, we can create a better world for all. As the Manila Legacy Crown Lions Club continues to pave the way for community sustainability, let us all take inspiration and join hands in making our communities a better place for everyone. For community project partnership and donations please coordinate to have a better community fpr Dumagat tribe.

The Manila Legacy Crown Lions Club, a prestigious organization dedicated to community service, recently had a courtesy call on June 10, 2026 at the office of Norzagaray Bulacan Mayor, Hon. Maria Elena "Merlyn" Germar. The purpose of the visit was to discuss the club's community sustainability project, specifically aimed at helping the Dumagat community and the D**e Elementary School. Led by the club's president, Dr. Michael Kevin Eustaquio, along with Vice President Joy Entusiasmo and other officers Cherry Pagodpod, Juhanie Cabañero, Julius Salahog, and Jose Lius, the Lions Club is paving the way towards a brighter and more sustainable future for these communities.

The Dumagat community, a marginalized indigenous group in the Philippines, has long been in need of support and assistance. The Lions Club recognized this and has taken on the responsibility of spearheading a community sustainability project to uplift their living conditions. With the help of the club's leadership, this project aims to provide the Dumagat community with necessary resources and assistance to help them become self-sufficient and sustainable.

During the courtesy call, the Lions Club also had the opportunity to visit the Dumagat community in Sitio D**e and Sitio Manalo Brgy San Lorenzo, Norzagaray, Bulacan. This ocular visitation allowed the club to have a firsthand understanding of the community's needs and challenges. With this knowledge, the club can better tailor their community sustainability project to meet the specific needs of the Dumagat community.

In addition to the courtesy call with the mayor, the Lions Club also had the privilege to meet with the National Commission for Indigenous People and Barangay Captain Hon. Josephine De Mesa. These meetings were crucial in furthering the club's initiatives and collaborations with key organizations and local leaders. It is through these partnerships that the Lions Club hopes to continue making a positive impact in the lives of the Dumagat community.

The Manila Legacy Crown Lions Club is committed to making a lasting and sustainable difference in the communities it serves. Through initiatives such as this community sustainability project in Norzagaray Bulacan, the club is living up to its legacy of service and giving back to those in need. By working closely with local leaders, the Lions Club is setting a prime example of how collaboration and community involvement can result in meaningful and lasting change.

As we look towards the future, let us remember the words of Dr. Michael Kevin Eustaquio, "Together, we can create a positive impact on the lives of those in need. Let us continue to work towards building sustainable communities for a brighter future."

With the Manila Legacy Crown Lions Club at the helm, we can expect to see more positive changes and initiatives aimed at uplifting communities and improving lives.
