🌱 Humanitas: Charity Extension

Following our charter celebration, we made sure that every single remaining donation reached those who needed it most. Our team turned over the excess supplies to the families affected by the recent fire in Intramuros. Providing meals for the children, water, and rice is our small way of standing in solidarity with them during this difficult time.

We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to the Rotary Club of Liwasang Bonifacio for their invaluable help in delivering these donations to the affected area. This experience has truly inspired our club to do more of this in the future, as we continue our journey of service to the community.

🌱 Humanitas: The Seed of Service

Fueled by the momentum of our Induction and Charter Ceremonies, the Rotaract Club of Liwasang Bonifacio decided there was no better way to celebrate our new beginning than by getting straight to work.

We are incredibly honored to have spent our first official day of service partnering with the Rotary Club of Liwasang Bonifacio for an outreach at the Asociacion de Damas de Filipinas. We celebrated this milestone by inviting Jollibee to share meals and play games with the children and volunteers, reminding us that the heart of service is joy.

Beyond the fun, we were able to provide essential support by donating rice, medicine, and canned goods, as well as bleach, detergent, and other cleaning necessities to help with the center's daily needs.

This is just the beginning, and we are so excited to do more of this in the future.

🌱 Purpose Takes Root

Last March 1, 2026, our journey officially began at the Asociacion de Damas de Filipinas during our Charter and Induction Ceremonies. Themed "Humanitas: The Seed of Service," the event celebrated the official planting of our club’s commitment to the community. We were deeply honored to share this milestone with our sponsoring club, the Rotary Club of Liwasang Bonifacio, as well as the Rotaract District Committees and our families. Their presence provided the support and mentorship that served as the rich soil for our growth, reminding us that while we start as a small seed, our collective impact has the potential to reach great heights.

Inspired and excited to nurture this seed together, we are now embarking on our journey of Fellowship through Service.

While in Iloilo for PROCON, Rotaract Club of Liwasang Bonifacio joined the PIP RUN at the Iloilo Provincial Capitol Grounds. 🏃‍♂️✨

This District 3850 initiative was a fun run open to the general public, bringing everyone together to support the End Polio movement. It was a great opportunity to step out beyond the convention and join the wider community in racing toward a polio-free future.

RACLB's 1st ProCon 🎉

Last February 20–22, 2026, the 14th Pilipinas Rotaract Convention (PROCON) successfully gathered Rotaractors from across the country in the heart of Iloilo City. The Rotaract Club of Liwasang Bonifacio joined this vibrant three-day event, immersing the delegation in the spirit of service and fellowship that defines the Rotaract movement. From the collective teamwork of setting up the club booth to the high-energy cheering for our representative in the Mr. & Ms. Pilipinas Rotaract, the weekend was a powerful display of synergy and passion. Whether marching through the streets for the End Polio Now Neon Walk or witnessing the incredible talent during the inter-district dance competitions, the experience was a true testament to the unity of all districts.

Beyond the festivities, the convention served as a significant platform for leadership growth and cultural discovery. The delegation attended the inspiring plenary talk "Beyond Rotaract," which encouraged members to eventually transition into Rotary to fully experience the organization's global mission, and participated in specialized breakout sessions showcasing Iloilo’s rich heritage as a UNESCO City of Gastronomy. The convention ended by experiencing the "City of Love" firsthand, enjoying iconic Ilonggo delicacies and touring historic landmarks on the final day. Our delegate returns home with hearts full of inspiration and a renewed excitement to continue this incredible journey of service!
