NTC-Red Cross Youth Council attended the relaunching of 𝗠𝗮𝗱𝘂𝗴𝗼𝗻𝗴 𝗣𝗮𝗹𝗶𝗴𝘀𝗮𝗵𝗮𝗻 last April 25 at the Blessed Pier Giorgio Frassati Building Auditorium of University of Santo Tomas.

This event served as a meaningful opportunity to reintroduce the campaign, set its goals and mechanics, and highlight the significance of promoting youth voluntary blood donation in saving lives and strengthening the communities. The organization shows its initiative and continues support to humanitarian efforts that encourage compassion and solidarity.

Ang pinakahihintay na 𝐌𝐀𝐃𝐔𝐆𝐎𝐍𝐆 𝐏𝐀𝐋𝐈𝐆𝐒𝐀𝐇𝐀𝐍 ay narito na!

Ngayong araw, sama-sama nating isabuhay ang diwa ng kabayanihan sa pamamagitan ng pakikiisa sa adbokasiya ng Pledge 25, isang simpleng hakbang na maaaring magligtas ng buhay at magbigay ng panibagong pag-asa sa mga nangangailangan.

Sa temang 𝐃𝐮𝐠𝐨 𝐧𝐠 𝐁𝐚𝐲𝐚𝐧𝐢, 𝐃𝐚𝐥𝐨𝐲 𝐧𝐠 𝐏𝐚𝐠-𝐀𝐬𝐚, ipinapakita natin na ang bawat patak ng dugo ay may dalang malasakit, pag-asa, at kabayanihan. Sa bawat donor, may buhay na natutulungan, at sa bawat ambag, may pag-asang naibabahagi.

The Madugong Paligsahan is an advocacy initiative of the Philippine Red Cross Manila Chapter Youth Council that brings people together for one purpose: to help save lives through blood donation.

Guided by this year’s theme, “Dugo ng Bayani, Daloy ng Pag-Asa,” the event highlights how every drop of blood carries the spirit of heroism and becomes a lifeline of hope for those in need. It reminds us that even in the simplest act of giving, we become part of something bigger than ourselves.

This coming 𝗔𝗽𝗿𝗶𝗹 𝟭𝟴, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲, the 𝗡𝗧𝗖 - 𝗣𝘀𝘆𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗹𝗼𝗴𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗦𝗼𝗰𝗶𝗲𝘁𝘆 will be hosting “𝗘𝗺𝗣𝗔𝗪𝘁𝗵𝘆: 𝗖𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗕𝗲𝘆𝗼𝗻𝗱 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗱𝘀” which aims to extend empathy and genuine care for stray animals through a feeding program for them. The said event will take place on one of NTC’s adapted barangay, 𝗕𝗿𝗴𝘆. 𝟯𝟴𝟵 𝗭𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝟰𝟬 𝗤𝘂𝗶𝗮𝗽𝗼, 𝗠𝗮𝗻𝗶𝗹𝗮. With NTCPS, the 𝗥𝗲𝗱 𝗖𝗿𝗼𝘀𝘀 𝗬𝗼𝘂𝘁𝗵 𝗖𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗰𝗶𝗹 will be joining this initiative as well to provide support and assistance for the volunteers.

This community service will not merely provide a one time feeding program for the stray animals, but mainly encourage the people that empathy goes far beyond words, it can be expressed through genuine action to share hope and help to others. Our fur friends are one of us, they have lives, they have hearts, they have needs that they strive to fulfill in order to survive.

PCOS is more common than we think, around 4.5 million Filipinas are living with PCOS; yet many women still struggle to recognize its signs.

𝙄𝙧𝙧𝙚𝙜𝙪𝙡𝙖𝙧 𝙥𝙚𝙧𝙞𝙤𝙙𝙨. 𝘼𝙘𝙣𝙚. 𝙒𝙚𝙞𝙜𝙝𝙩 𝙘𝙝𝙖𝙣𝙜𝙚. 𝙃𝙤𝙧𝙢𝙤𝙣𝙖𝙡 𝙞𝙢𝙗𝙖𝙡𝙖𝙣𝙘𝙚. These are not something to ignore. These may be your body’s way of calling your attention and care.

Last March 28, 2026, IGNITE: Fire Prevention Education was held at the Social Hall and Science Quadrangle, organized by NTC Red Cross Youth Council in partnership with T. Pinpin and Gandara Neighborhood Fire Prevention Association Inc., and with support from the NTC Student Government, Security Office, and Clinic.

The seminar provided students with essential knowledge and practical skills in fire prevention and emergency response, featuringa live demonstration.

This 𝙒𝙤𝙢𝙚𝙣’𝙨 𝙈𝙤𝙣𝙩𝙝, we stand in solidarity with every woman by raising awareness about 𝗯𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘀𝘁 𝗰𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲𝗿, one of the most common health challenges faced by women worldwide. Awareness is more than just knowledge. It is a powerful tool that can save lives.
