𝐄𝐦𝐩𝐨𝐰𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐝 𝐖𝐢𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐧: 𝐁𝐞𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐘𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐎𝐰𝐧 𝐒𝐚𝐟𝐞 𝐒𝐩𝐚𝐜𝐞
In celebration of 𝐖𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐧’𝐬 𝐌𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐡, a meaningful and empowering afternoon unfolded at the 𝐈𝐧𝐪𝐮𝐢𝐫𝐞𝐫 𝐂𝐚𝐦𝐩𝐮𝐬 𝐓𝐚𝐥𝐤𝐬 entitled "𝐁𝐞𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐘𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐎𝐰𝐧 𝐒𝐚𝐟𝐞 𝐒𝐩𝐚𝐜𝐞", held on 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐜𝐡 17, 2026, at the 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐫𝐚𝐝𝐨 𝐁𝐞𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐞𝐳 𝐇𝐚𝐥𝐥 𝐨𝐟 𝐏𝐡𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐩𝐩𝐢𝐧𝐞 𝐖𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐧’𝐬 𝐔𝐧𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐲
In partnership with the Office of Student Affairs, in full coordination with Campus Life, and in collaboration with the School of Arts and Sciences, the University Student Council, and the Communication Arts Society, this initiative under the Women of Power Initiative brought together students, educators, and partner institutions in a shared pursuit of 𝙜𝙧𝙤𝙬𝙩𝙝, 𝙚𝙢𝙥𝙤𝙬𝙚𝙧𝙢𝙚𝙣𝙩, and 𝙨𝙚𝙡𝙛-𝙖𝙬𝙖𝙧𝙚𝙣𝙚𝙨𝙨.
The forum highlighted timely and essential conversations on setting 𝗵𝗲𝗮𝗹𝘁𝗵𝘆 𝗯𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗲𝘀, 𝗽𝗿𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗯𝘂𝗿𝗻𝗼𝘂𝘁, 𝗮𝗰𝗵𝗶𝗲𝘃𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗯𝗮𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲, and 𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗿𝗮𝗰𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗰𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗮𝗴𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝗳𝗮𝗶𝗹 𝗳𝗼𝗿𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗱,equipping students with the mindset and tools to become their own source of strength and safe space.
We extend our sincere appreciation to our esteemed speakers,𝗠𝗿.𝗠𝘆𝗸𝗲 𝗖𝗲𝗹𝗶𝘀,𝗠𝗿.𝗞𝘆𝗹𝗲 𝗧𝗶𝗮𝗺𝘇𝗼𝗻,𝗠𝘀.𝗔𝗹𝗮𝘆𝗮 𝗡𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘇𝗼-𝗩𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗮𝗳𝗹𝗼𝗿, and 𝗠𝘀. 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗰𝗼 𝗦𝘂𝗻𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗲 𝗕. 𝗥𝗼𝗱𝗿𝗶𝗴𝘂𝗲𝘇 for sharing their expertise, experiences, and inspiring insights that truly resonated with the audience.
Our gratitude also goes to the participating schools, including 𝗝𝗔𝗦𝗠𝗦 𝗠𝗮𝗻𝗶𝗹𝗮 and 𝗶𝗻𝘀𝘁𝗶𝘁𝘂𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿 𝗦𝗠𝗘𝗖, 𝗮𝘀 𝘄𝗲𝗹𝗹 𝗮𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘀𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝘃𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗼𝘂𝘀 𝗰𝗼𝘂𝗿𝘀𝗲𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝗣𝗪𝗨, whose presence and engagement made the event even more impactful.
This successful initiative was made possible through the collaboration of the 𝗣𝗪𝗨 𝗦𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗖𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗰𝗶𝗹, headed by 𝗗𝗲𝗻𝗶𝘀𝗲 𝗟𝗼𝘆𝗼𝗹𝗮, and the 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗺𝘂𝗻𝗶𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗔𝗿𝘁𝘀 𝗦𝗼𝗰𝗶𝗲𝘁𝘆 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗺𝗶𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗲, headed by 𝗝𝘂𝗱𝗼𝗳𝗿𝘆𝗹 𝗖𝗮𝗴𝘂𝗻𝗼𝘁. Adding a creative and heartfelt touch to the celebration, the CAS Department also organized a 𝗗𝗜𝗬 𝗕𝗼𝘂𝗾𝘂𝗲𝘁 𝗕𝗼𝗼𝘁𝗵, honoring 𝗳𝗲𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗶𝘁𝘆 and 𝐬𝐞𝐥𝐟-𝐞𝐱𝐩𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧 during this special month.
