The Philippine Model ASEAN Meeting (PHMAM) had the honor of participating in the 12th University of Santo Tomas Model ASEAN Meeting (UST MAM 2026), widely recognized as the pioneer collegiate Model ASEAN Meeting in the Philippines.
For over a decade, UST MAM has set the benchmark for excellence in ASEAN simulations, consistently cultivating a culture of rigor, diplomacy, and principled consensus-building grounded in the ASEAN Way.
Anchored on this yearโs theme, โUnited in Continuity: Driving Innovative Solutions for Regional Stability towards a Prosperous and People-Centered ASEAN,โ the conference challenged delegates to navigate complex regional realities with competence, collaboration, and consensus.
Representing PHMAM as delegates were: Sean Matthew Parra, Jose Carlo Pascual, Pauline Macarasig, and Hyrapatia Liquigan.
Engaging in substantive negotiations across the ASEAN pillars, our delegation witnessed firsthand the intellectual depth, organizational excellence, and diplomatic seriousness that UST MAM has become known for. The conference not only simulated ASEAN processes, it embodied the values of regional cooperation, strategic foresight, and youth empowerment.
PHMAM extends its sincere appreciation to the UST MAM Organizing Committee for mounting a conference that continues to raise the standards of Model ASEAN simulations in the Philippines. We are proud to stand alongside institutions that share our commitment to strengthening ASEAN literacy and empowering the next generation of Southeast Asian leaders.
