𝗠𝗬𝗗𝗖 𝗝𝗢𝗜𝗡𝗦 𝗦𝗞 𝗔𝗡𝗗 𝗟𝗬𝗗𝗖 𝗠𝗔𝗡𝗗𝗔𝗧𝗢𝗥𝗬 𝗧𝗥𝗔𝗜𝗡𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗣𝗜𝗟𝗢𝗧 𝗧𝗘𝗦𝗧𝗜𝗡𝗚 🇵🇭

The Manila Youth Development Council (MYDC) together with Manila Youth Development and Welfare Bureau (YDWB), sent its representatives to participate in the Pilot Testing of the SK and LYDC Mandatory Training Package, organized by the National Youth Commission (NYC).

Held from September 22–24, 2026 at Green Sun Hotel, Makati City, the activity provided an opportunity for youth development stakeholders to experience the training package firsthand and share their insights, feedback, and evaluation to help further strengthen its implementation for SK and LYDC members.

Maraming salamat, National Youth Commission, for giving Manila’s youth representatives the opportunity to contribute to this important initiative for stronger and more capable youth governance.

Patuloy tayong nakikiisa sa paghubog ng mga kabataang handang matuto, makilahok, at mamuno. 💙🇵🇭

MYDC SESSION UPDATE | SEPTEMBER 21, 2026

Post-session update mula sa Manila Youth Development Council. 💙💛❤️

Sa ating session, tinalakay at isinulong ang mga panukalang nakatuon sa education and opportunities, accessible study spaces, mas inclusive na youth participation, child protection, volunteerism, at environmental action.

Kasama rin sa napag-usapan ang pagsuporta sa BETTER DAYS: Manila University Stops bilang bahagi ng mga hakbang para palakasin ang mental health awareness at support para sa kabataang Manileño.

Patuloy nating binibigyang espasyo ang mga ideya at programang nagmumula mismo sa kabataan—para sa mas aktibo, ligtas, at makabuluhang youth participation sa Maynila.

Isang pagkilala para sa Maynila, pero isang tagumpay na binuo ng maraming kabataang patuloy na nakikilahok, nangunguna, at naglilingkod.

Today in Muntinlupa City, Councilor Yanyan Ibay, representing the SK Federation of Manila, together with Director John Daniel Layno of the Manila Youth Development and Welfare Bureau, received the 𝐁𝐀𝐋𝐀𝐍𝐆𝐀𝐘 𝐀𝐖𝐀𝐑𝐃 from the National Youth Commission.

The recognition was received in the presence of fellow LYDOs, SK Federations, and LYDCs from across Metro Manila—a gathering of youth leaders and institutions working toward one shared goal: giving young people a stronger voice and a meaningful place in governance.

Tulad ng isang balangay, hindi iisang tao ang nagpapaandar sa paglalakbay. Sabay-sabay itong isinusulong ng bawat kabataang may boses, bawat lider na kumikilos, at bawat komunidad na naniniwala sa kakayahan ng bagong henerasyon.

The City of Manila is a recipient of the 𝐍𝐀𝐓𝐈𝐎𝐍𝐀𝐋 𝐘𝐎𝐔𝐓𝐇 𝐂𝐎𝐌𝐌𝐈𝐒𝐒𝐈𝐎𝐍’𝐒 𝐁𝐀𝐋𝐀𝐍𝐆𝐀𝐘 𝐀𝐖𝐀𝐑𝐃, a recognition that carries with it the collective work, voice, and aspirations of the Batang Maynila.

Receiving the honor today in Muntinlupa City are 𝐂𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐜𝐢𝐥𝐨𝐫 𝐘𝐚𝐧𝐲𝐚𝐧 𝐈𝐛𝐚𝐲, representing the SK Federation of Manila, and 𝐃𝐢𝐫𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐨𝐫 𝐉𝐨𝐡𝐧 𝐃𝐚𝐧𝐢𝐞𝐥 𝐋𝐚𝐲𝐧𝐨 of the Manila Youth Development and Welfare Bureau, witnessed by fellow LYDOs, SK Federations, and LYDCs from across Metro Manila.

𝗠𝗜𝗖 𝗖𝗛𝗘𝗖 𝗠𝗔𝗬𝗡𝗜𝗟𝗔: 𝗕𝗢𝗦𝗘𝗦 𝗡𝗚 𝗞𝗔𝗕𝗔𝗧𝗔𝗔𝗡, 𝗦𝗔 𝗦𝗘𝗡𝗧𝗥𝗢 𝗡𝗚 𝗨𝗦𝗔𝗣𝗔𝗡 🎙️

August 14, 2026 | Bilang bahagi ng pagdiriwang ng Linggo ng Kabataan 2026, pinangunahan nina SK Federation President Councilor Yanyan Ibay at Manila Youth Development and Welfare Bureau Director John Daniel Layno ang Mic Check Maynila, isang bukas na talakayan kasama ang mga SK at youth organizations ng lungsod.

Mula sa mga hamon na kinakaharap ng kabataang Manileño hanggang sa mga solusyong nais nilang makita, naging espasyo ito para makinig, magbahagi, at gawing bahagi ng pagkilos ang mismong boses ng kabataan.

Dahil ang makabuluhang programa para sa kabataan ay nagsisimula sa isang simpleng bagay: pakinggan sila. 🎤✨
