Bukas, Agosto 19, walang face-to-face classes, pero tuloy ang pag-aaral sa pamamagitan ng Alternative Delivery Mode. Ibig sabihin, walang face-to-face classes, pero may learning activities pa rin.

Gusto natin, ligtas ang mga estudyante pero tuloy ang edukasyon.
At sa mga nanay… ’wag masyadong makunsume, baka tumaas ang BP ninyo! 🤣

Mag-ingat po ang lahat! Hangga't maari, manatili sa loob ng bahay at magdala ng payong kung hindi maiwasang lumabas dahil mahirap magkasakit.

The TUP-Manila University Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (UDRRMO) trained officers and members had the privilege of stepping up to teach and guide the dedicated men and women of the National Service Reserve Corps (NSRC) Class of 2026. Conducted weekly training sessions. We go beyond the basics to equip the corps with essential life-saving skills: Emergency First Aid, Basic Life Support (Hands-Only CPR), Bandaging Techniques, Lifting & Moving patient transport, Disaster Risk Reduction & Management (DRRM), Hazard Mapping & campus disaster preparedness

This partnership doesn't stop at teaching; NSRC TUP-Manila members actively work hand-in-hand with TUP Manila UDRRMO to provide on-site first aid during NSTP training days, ensuring immediate response and fostering a proactive and disaster-resilient university community

This achievement was made possible through the guidance and leadership and we were also honored to have our NSTP Director and Head of UDRRMO "𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐟. 𝐑𝐄𝐆𝐆𝐈𝐄 𝐂. 𝐂𝐀𝐌𝐏𝐎𝐌𝐀𝐍𝐄𝐒". Our commitment and professionalism ensured the event’s success and made it truly memorable. We are ready to face the challenges ahead and build a stronger, more disaster resilient community.

Hon. Mayor FRANCISCO “ISKO” MORENO DOMAGOSO has ordered the suspension of classes in ALL LEVELS, both PUBLIC AND PRIVATE SCHOOLS, on Tuesday, August 18, 2026, due to inclement weather brought about by the southwest monsoon (habagat)

The decision follows recommendations from the Manila City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Department (MCDRRMD), citing weather forecasts from PAGASA that predict moderate to heavy, and at times intense, rainfall throughout the morning and afternoon. School authorities are advised to shift to Alternative Delivery Modes (ADM) to ensure learning continues safely from home.

The decision follows recommendations from the Manila City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Department (MCDRRMD), citing weather forecasts from PAGASA that predict moderate to heavy, and at times intense, rainfall throughout the morning and afternoon. School authorities are advised to shift to Alternative Delivery Modes (ADM) to ensure learning continues safely from home.

Kasalukuyang nakararanas ng napakalakas hanggang sa matinding pag ulan na sa lungsod ng Maynila na maaaring magtagal sa loob ng tatlong oras (3 hours), dahil dito, itinaas ng PAGASA ang RED rainfall warning sa lungsod.

PINAPAALALAHANAN ANG LAHAT NA MAGING ALERTO SA POSIBLENG FLASH FLOODS LALO NA SA MGA FLOOD PRONE AREAS.

Manatiling nakatutok sa ating weather updates at ng PAGASA. Sa panahong ito, lamang ang may alam!

URGENT ADVISORY
5 August 2026

Upon recommendation of the Manila City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Department (MCDRRMD), I am ordering the suspension of classes in all levels in public and private schools on Thursday, 6 August 2026, due to inclement weather brought about by enhanced southwest monsoon (habagat).

According to the MCDRRMD, the latest weather models and rainfall outlook from the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) indicate significant rainfall tomorrow, with intensity ranging from light to moderate, at times heavy.

Schools are advised to shift to ADM or Alternative Delivery Mode.

For the past few months, our Sundays have been defined by purpose, discipline, and an unwavering commitment to our community. Every training day, TUP Manila UDRRMO Officers Mr. Mengua, Mr. Gatarin, Ms. Alfaro had the privilege of stepping up to mentor and guide the dedicated men and women of the TUP ROTC Medics Class of 2026. Week after week, they worked shoulder to shoulder to master vital life-saving skills from securing scene safety and performing Hands-Only CPR to executing precise bandaging techniques, safe lifting and moving procedures, and crucial emergency first aid.

This achievement was made possible through the guidance and leadership and we were also honored to have our NSTP Director and UDRRMO Head 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐟. 𝐑𝐄𝐆𝐆𝐈𝐄 𝐂. 𝐂𝐀𝐌𝐏𝐎𝐌𝐀𝐍𝐄𝐒 and together with the officers and Staff of the TUP UDRRMO. Our commitment and professionalism ensured the event’s success and made it truly memorable. We are ready to face the challenges ahead and build a stronger, more disaster resilient community.

True readiness is forged through continuous dedication, and watching these future responders grow in confidence and skill has been nothing short of inspiring.
