Rotary Club of Pasay West Celebrates Chinese New Year in Grand Style! 🧧

Last night, the Rotary Club of Pasay West joyfully welcomed the Chinese New Year at the elegant Networld Hotel, Pasay City, in the company of our dear Rotarian friends and family.

The evening was filled with fellowship, laughter, and meaningful connections as everyone enjoyed a sumptuous Chinese buffet dinner. The highlight of the celebration was the vibrant and energetic Dragon and Lion Dance show, symbolizing prosperity, strength, and good fortune for the year ahead. The rhythmic drums and colorful performances truly brought life and positive energy into the celebration!

More than just a festive gathering, the event reminded us of the spirit of unity, friendship, and service that binds us together as Rotarians. It was a beautiful night of culture, tradition, and shared blessings.

As we step into this new year, may it bring abundance, success, happiness, and stronger bonds of service for our club and our community.

🧧✨ Wishing everyone a prosperous, joyful, and blessed Chinese New Year! Gong Xi Fa Cai! 🐲🎊

💛 A Birthday with a Purpose | Service in Action 💛

Today, the Rotary Club of Pasay West had the honor of joining and supporting a meaningful birthday celebration hosted by UCP Maria Nimfa Diaz, held in Tondo, Manila. More than a celebration, the event became a heartfelt mission of service, compassion, and shared humanity.

In celebration of her birthday, a gift-giving and feeding activity was conducted for the elderly and children of the barangay. The entire community was able to share a meal, proving once again that service becomes more meaningful when it is inclusive.

Through the generosity of our sponsors and donors, both in cash and in kind, many lives were touched. The children received slippers for Christmas, grocery items for Noche Buena, gift packs, towels, hand fans to provide comfort while waiting in long hospital queues, loaf breads, and sacks of rice. These simple yet thoughtful gifts brought smiles, relief, and hope to many families.

🙏 With our deepest gratitude, we acknowledge and thank our generous sponsors and partners:

Our heartfelt appreciation also goes to the family and relatives of UCP Maria Nimfa Diaz for their full support—from purchasing giveaways and raffle items to food preparation, as well as assisting in the setup of tents and decorations in Barangay 41.

Thank you as well to Chairman Erwin Dela Paz for gracing the event and for his continued support of this charitable mission.

May we never grow weary of helping others, especially during this season of giving and as we celebrate the birth of Christ. As beautifully shared by UCP Maria Nimfa Diaz:

✨ “Spread Joy, Love, and Kindness this Christmas.” ✨

In the true spirit of Rotary, we remain committed to
SERVICE ABOVE SELF
and the Rotary Year 2025 theme, UNITE FOR GOOD.
