Tribute to the Visionary Founder: Param Pujyaneeya Dr. Keshav Baliram Hedgewar Ji
Dr. Keshav Baliram Hedgewar, the visionary founder of the RSS and a Yugadrashta (one who envisions an era), was born on the auspicious day of Ugadi. As the RSS enters its centenary year, this birth anniversary holds profound significance.
He realized early on that merely gaining independence would not be enough; the nation had to be protected from falling back into the hands of foreign or detrimental forces. Aspiring for the Param Vaibhav of Bharat, he dedicated his life to the unification of national strength.
With a core focus on Vyakti Nirmana established the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh.
What began as a small seed in his hands has grown exponentially—as the saying goes, *"Inthinthai Vatudinthai"*—and is now celebrating its 100th year.
From its humble beginnings in Nagpur, the organization has flourished:
* Today, there is no village in this country without the presence of the RSS.
* There is no street in India without a Swayamsevak.
Today , we have more than one reason to celebrate the dawning of the new Hindu year.
