The MU SIGMA EPSILON SORORITY, which stands for Medics for Service and Excellence, was founded on August 1995 with the following objectives:

1. To foster in its members the development
- of the mind, not as much to accumulate knowledge but to understand problems and seek for their reasonable solution
- of the will, through internal motivation and self-discipline
- of the heart, by an ever more pe

rsonal acceptance of the Muses’ values and convictions
- of the soul, by respecting human dignity

2. To unite students, faculties and alumni in friendship, good fellowship, and mutual understanding.

3. To uphold academic excellence, service and loyalty in the medical school and society in general.

4. To develop in its members the spirit of voluntary service with all humility through interaction with the community and application of medical knowledge and skills.
