All Red Cross Youth volunteers are encouraged to switch off non-essential lights at 8:30 PM today as a symbol of unity and commitment to our planet.

Beyond this hour, may we continue to lead with purpose, take meaningful action, and inspire lasting change within our communities.

Let this moment serve not only as participation, but as a reminder of our shared responsibility to build a more sustainable and resilient future.

With the summer heat putting a strain on our national power grid, the Philippine Red Cross encourages every household to participate in Earth Hour. Reducing our load for just 60 minutes on March 28 at 8:30 PM is a practical act of patriotism.

𝑳𝒐𝒗𝒆 𝒂𝒕 𝑭𝒊𝒓𝒔𝒕 𝑭𝒍𝒊𝒈𝒉𝒕! ❤✈

𝐅𝐞𝐛𝐫𝐮𝐚𝐫𝐲 𝟐𝟕, 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔, at the 𝐒𝐕 𝐅𝐚𝐜𝐚𝐝𝐞 was a day painted with 𝙡𝙖𝙪𝙜𝙝𝙩𝙚𝙧, 𝙟𝙤𝙮, and 𝙢𝙚𝙢𝙤𝙧𝙞𝙚𝙨 𝙩𝙤 𝙩𝙧𝙚𝙖𝙨𝙪𝙧𝙚. Volunteers, who knew a simple paper airplane could bring so much fun? Our 𝑳𝒐𝒗𝒆 𝒂𝒕 𝑭𝒊𝒓𝒔𝒕 𝑭𝒍𝒊𝒈𝒉𝒕 booth turned our 𝑷𝒖𝒔𝒐𝒏𝒈 𝑷𝒂𝒍𝒌𝒐𝒏 celebration into a playful challenge as participants tried their luck in the paper airplane toss game.

With every throw, the air was filled with 𝙘𝙝𝙚𝙚𝙧𝙨 and 𝙡𝙖𝙪𝙜𝙝𝙩𝙚𝙧 as our fellow klasmyets aimed for their 𝙥𝙚𝙧𝙛𝙚𝙘𝙩 𝙛𝙡𝙞𝙜𝙝𝙩. Whether the planes soared smoothly or took unexpected turns, every toss brought smiles and made the celebration 𝙩𝙧𝙪𝙡𝙮 𝙢𝙚𝙢𝙤𝙧𝙖𝙗𝙡𝙚.

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who joined us, bringing 𝙚𝙣𝙚𝙧𝙜𝙮, 𝙟𝙤𝙮, and 𝙬𝙖𝙧𝙢𝙩𝙝 that made the booth come alive. 🦅❤✨

This 𝐖𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐧’𝐬 𝐌𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐡, we celebrate the strength, compassion, and brilliance of women—especially those who dedicate their lives to healing others. Women in the medical field continue to shape healthcare through their knowledge, care, and leadership.

Pioneers like Dra. Honoria Acosta-Sison, the first Filipina physician, Dra. Fe del Mundo, a trailblazer in pediatrics who transformed children’s healthcare, Dra. Estefania Aldaba-Lim, the first Filipina child psychiatrist who advocated for children’s mental health, and Ms. Rosa Rosal, an actress and humanitarian known for her lifelong service with the Philippine Red Cross, remind us that women have long been at the forefront of medicine, service, and change.

Their legacy continues to inspire future generations to 𝙡𝙚𝙖𝙙, 𝙝𝙚𝙖𝙡, and 𝙢𝙖𝙠𝙚 𝙖 𝙙𝙞𝙛𝙛𝙚𝙧𝙚𝙣𝙘𝙚.
