🎯 MISSION: FINANCIAL READINESS — SECURING TODAY. STRENGTHENING TOMORROW.

Another milestone. Another mission accomplished. 🏆

The League of Academic Professionals and Interdisciplinary Society (LAPIS) successfully responded to the invitation of the Personnel Management Center, Philippine Army, to conduct a Family Financial Management Seminar for military and Civilian Human Resource personnel at Fort Andres Bonifacio, Taguig City.

🎤 Prof. Norberto Paranga Jr., PhD, Th.D., President of LAPIS, served as the Main Speaker, assisted by Ms. Willnalyn Cecilio, a financial management expert and LAPIS speaker.

The seminar was designed around four practical, mission-oriented sessions:

Financial Assessment and Goal Setting

💰 SESSION 2 — TACTICAL CASH FLOW
Budgeting and Resource Control

🛡️ SESSION 3 — DEBT COUNTERMEASURES

📝 FROM KNOWLEDGE TO ACTION

The engagement went beyond classroom discussion.

Military participants were provided with different financial management exercises and practical activities designed to sharpen their skills, challenge their financial decision-making, and provide greater understanding of how financial principles can be applied to real-life situations.

Through budgeting exercises, cash-flow analysis, debt scenarios, financial planning activities, and scam-awareness situations, participants were encouraged to think, analyze, decide, and act.

💡 FINANCIAL LITERACY IS A MUST.

Financial literacy is not merely an additional skill—it is an essential life capability.

Every individual and every family needs the knowledge to earn wisely, budget responsibly, manage debt, save consistently, recognize financial scams, and prepare for the future. 💰🏦🛡️

Financial literacy must be continuously advocated, taught, practiced, and brought closer to communities.

🛡️ Essential services involving basic and health services, disaster preparedness and response, and other vital operations shall continue to ensure uninterrupted public service.

The League of Academic Professionals and Interdisciplinary Society (LAPIS) proudly welcomes Lieutenant Colonel Lawrence R. San Juan INF (GSC) PA as a new member of the LAPIS Advisory Committee.

With 30 years of dedicated military service, Col. San Juan brings to the LAPIS Family a wealth of experience in military leadership, combat fitness, physical readiness development, self-defense, security operations, professional training, and leadership development.

He currently serves as Director of the Combat Fitness and Wellness Development Center (CFWDC), Training Support Group, Education and Training Command, Philippine Army, contributing to the Philippine Army's Physical Readiness Development Program.

His distinguished professional journey includes leadership and operational assignments as Special Operations Forces Platoon Leader, Executive Officer, Company Commander, and Battalion Commander of the 3rd Scout Ranger Battalion. He is also an accomplished instructor and training professional with qualifications in IKMF Krav Maga, tactical shooting, VIP protection, emergency response, combat fitness, and civilian hand-to-hand instruction.

His commitment to developing people through structured training, continuous improvement, and service reflects the professional excellence that strengthens the mission of LAPIS.

The League of Academic Professionals and Interdisciplinary Society (LAPIS) proudly welcomes Mr. Edwin Cabadles Zamora as a new member of the LAPIS Advisory Committee. 🎓🤝

📚 An accomplished educational leader, school administrator, professorial lecturer, and professional advocate, Mr. Zamora brings a wealth of experience in educational management, academic leadership, basic education administration, teaching, and interdisciplinary development.

🏫 He currently serves as Principal of the Elementary Department at Arellano University–Jose Rizal Campus, following years of dedicated service in various academic and administrative capacities, including Academic Coordinator, Prefect of Discipline, Grade School Teacher, and Professorial Lecturer in higher education institutions.

🎓 Academic and Professional Formation

Mr. Zamora earned his Bachelor of Science in Fisheries from Samar State University, a Post-Baccalaureate Certificate in Teaching from Philippine Normal University, and a Master of Arts in Education major in Educational Management from Arellano University.

📖 He is currently completing his Doctor of Education major in Educational Management and Leadership at Arellano University, further demonstrating his commitment to continuous professional and academic development.

👨‍🏫 Commitment to Higher Education

His academic engagement extends beyond school administration. As a professorial lecturer and part-time professor, he contributes his knowledge, research capabilities, teaching experience, and leadership expertise to the formation and development of future educators.
