The Association of Librarians in Public Sector (ALPS), Inc., in partnership with the National Library of the Philippines (NLP), will conduct its 8th National Online Convention on October 27–29, 2026, via Zoom, with the theme “Public Libraries Reimagined: Innovating Services, Empowering Communities, Leading the Future.”

This three-day online convention aims to strengthen the competencies of public librarians and library professionals through the sharing of knowledge, experiences, innovations, and best practices in delivering responsive, inclusive, and community-centered public library services. Key topics include Digital Inclusion and E-Government Services, User-Centered and Inclusive Library Design, Innovative Library Management and Leadership, Project and Impact Management, Qualification Standards for Public Librarians, and Libraries and Community-Driven Development.

All public librarians, library-in-charges, library personnel, Local Chief Executives, and members of library organizations and related associations are encouraged to participate. The registration fee is ₱600.00 per participant. The convention will also be applied for CPD accreditation, subject to PRC requirements and guidelines.
