We praise God for another online fellowship last 𝗙𝗿𝗶𝗱𝗮𝘆, 𝗔𝗽𝗿𝗶𝗹 𝟭𝟬, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 🙌💚

Not only was our time enriched with laughter, but also meaningful conversations about our unique and personal Holy Week experiences, where we each shared our various reflections:

💌 𝙇𝙚𝙖𝙧𝙣𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙝𝙤𝙬 𝙩𝙤 𝙨𝙪𝙧𝙧𝙚𝙣𝙙𝙚𝙧 𝙩𝙤 𝙂𝙤𝙙

💌 𝙍𝙚𝙛𝙧𝙚𝙨𝙝𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙤𝙪𝙧 𝙝𝙚𝙖𝙧𝙩𝙨 𝙬𝙞𝙩𝙝 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙗𝙚𝙖𝙪𝙩𝙮 𝙤𝙛 𝙅𝙚𝙨𝙪𝙨’ 𝙚𝙭𝙖𝙢𝙥𝙡𝙚

Through these reflections, we were able to encourage one another to continue growing in genuine faith even as our celebrations of Holy Week have come to an end.

With this, 𝐀𝐭𝐞 𝐉𝐨𝐲, shares a personal message:

We ended the night playing online games, offering prayers for another, and sharing our one-step commitments on how we can actively respond to these reflections in the communities, situations, and relationships God places us in.

May God continue to nurture this fellowship as we all support one another to continue living like Christ in light of His love!

We praise God once more for another fun and fruitful small group meeting last week, Friday (March 20, 2026). 🤗🫂

As we approached the middle of the semester, we spent our time catching up with one another through a small activity called ❓𝟐𝟎 𝐐𝐮𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬❓where we answer prompts designed to help us 𝐜𝐡𝐞𝐜𝐤 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐡𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐬 and identify what seasons we are in with God. 🫀 🔎

Together, we answered questions like:
🌱“𝙒𝙝𝙖𝙩 𝙝𝙖𝙨 𝙗𝙚𝙚𝙣 𝙝𝙖𝙥𝙥𝙚𝙣𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙞𝙣 𝙮𝙤𝙪𝙧 𝙥𝙧𝙖𝙮𝙚𝙧 𝙡𝙞𝙛𝙚?”
🌱“𝘼𝙧𝙚 𝙮𝙤𝙪 𝙨𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙨𝙛𝙞𝙚𝙙 𝙬𝙞𝙩𝙝 𝙮𝙤𝙪𝙧 𝙥𝙖𝙨𝙨𝙞𝙤𝙣 𝙛𝙤𝙧 𝙂𝙤𝙙 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙮𝙤𝙪𝙧 𝙧𝙚𝙡𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣𝙨𝙝𝙞𝙥 𝙬𝙞𝙩𝙝 𝙃𝙞𝙢?”

Through these, we were able to have conversations that allowed us to openly share our struggles, offer encouragement, and pray for one another. 🕊

We also reflected on a devotion based on 𝐏𝐬𝐚𝐥𝐦 𝟏𝟑𝟗 which revealed God’s 𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐦𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐢𝐧𝐯𝐨𝐥𝐯𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 in the lives and 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐲 𝐞𝐱𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞 of His children, His presence actively guiding not only in the life now, but after, and even before our own birth. Such a knowledge serves as an encouragement for all to openly offer their hearts to God in reverence, awe, and humility, while they “𝐬𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐜𝐡 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐦𝐬𝐞𝐥𝐯𝐞𝐬” as David did, hoping to please a God who cares with such utter detail about His people 🌎 ✝

We praise God for a successful 💙𝙎𝙩𝙪𝙙𝙮-𝙏𝙤𝙜𝙚𝙩𝙝𝙚𝙧 𝙊𝙣𝙡𝙞𝙣𝙚 𝙁𝙚𝙡𝙡𝙤𝙬𝙨𝙝𝙞𝙥 💙👩‍💻last 𝗧𝗵𝘂𝗿𝘀𝗱𝗮𝘆 (𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗰𝗵 𝟭𝟮, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲)! By His grace we were able to have a fun, edifying, and productive study time together with our SV manila peeps and other esvee invitees from the different SV campus chapters! 🥳

In addition to supporting one another with prayer and accountability, we were also able to reflect on the role and purpose of “𝙬𝙤𝙧𝙠” in a Christian’s walk with the Lord.

In a world where work has been twisted to feel oppressive or exploitative, serving only selfish or futile ends instead of serving God and others, Christ calls us to another way–viewing it as an 𝙚𝙭𝙥𝙧𝙚𝙨𝙨𝙞𝙤𝙣 𝙤𝙛 𝙬𝙤𝙧𝙨𝙝𝙞𝙥 𝙩𝙤 𝙖 𝙘𝙧𝙚𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙫𝙚 𝙂𝙤𝙙 and an important part in our role as human beings who are likewise commanded to 𝙨𝙩𝙚𝙬𝙖𝙧𝙙 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙘𝙖𝙧𝙚 𝙛𝙤𝙧 𝙂𝙤𝙙’𝙨 𝙘𝙧𝙚𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣. 🤝🌎

We ended the devotion by sharing with one another how we each can personally exemplify God-honoring service in our workplaces and in our universities, praying that we would have diligence sustained by His grace–diligence that blesses others as a testimony of 𝘾𝙝𝙧𝙞𝙨𝙩 and His 𝙨𝙖𝙫𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙬𝙤𝙧𝙠 within us. 🫂

Last Thursday (Feb 26, 2026) we discussed 𝐋𝐮𝐤𝐞 𝟏𝟐:𝟐𝟐-𝟑𝟒 a passage that is both challenging and comforting for its readers. In it we were reminded of the Lord’s calling for His followers: to 𝙨𝙚𝙚𝙠 𝙃𝙞𝙨 𝙠𝙞𝙣𝙜𝙙𝙤𝙢 𝙛𝙞𝙧𝙨𝙩 𝙞𝙣 𝙖𝙡𝙡 𝙩𝙝𝙞𝙣𝙜𝙨–and the blessing it brings through a life 𝙖𝙣𝙘𝙝𝙤𝙧𝙚𝙙 𝙤𝙣 𝙃𝙞𝙨 𝙡𝙖𝙨𝙩𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙚𝙩𝙚𝙧𝙣𝙖𝙡 𝙥𝙧𝙤𝙢𝙞𝙨𝙚𝙨.

Together, we explored what this verse meant as students in our campuses and 𝐡𝐨𝐰 𝐰𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐰𝐞 𝐯𝐚𝐥𝐮𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐦𝐨𝐬𝐭 𝐬𝐡𝐚𝐩𝐞𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐰𝐚𝐲 𝐰𝐞 𝐰𝐚𝐥𝐤 𝐢𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐥𝐢𝐟𝐞, openly sharing about the various concerns, distractions, and anxieties in our lives that can sometimes cause us to take our eyes off of the Lord 👁️

The command to not worry can feel challenging in this fast-paced, material world where convenience is tempting, but we find our courage and example in Christ who, through perfect trust for the good Father, lived a life fully devoted and obedient to Him. ✝️

Even if it sometimes costs our comfort and even as we work for our daily bread, may we treasure the One who considers us worth more than sparrows, sharing the peace and generosity that results from it with others ❤️

Look no further! The State Christian Varsity Fellowship of Manila (or SVCF Manila) is happy to provide just that! SVCF Manila is a growing organisation of Filipino students and graduates engaged in extending God’s kingdom worldwide. 🌏🌟

We are geared towards discipling individuals for Christ, thoroughly equipping them to serve their campuses, churches, and personal communities as they freely learn about who Christ is alongside others. 👫👬👭
