This year, we celebrate the 182nd anniversary of the World YMCA Movement, founded by Sir George Williams on June 6, 1844. From its humble beginnings in London to a global movement spanning over 120 countries, the YMCA continues to empower young people to lead, serve, and create positive change.๐Ÿ’™โค๏ธ

As part of this worldwide movement, the Manila Downtown YMCA Youth Club proudly carries forward its mission of youth empowerment, community service, and leadership, building a better world for all.

A year of learning, growth, and leadership came to a meaningful close last April 25, 2026, as the Manila Downtown YMCA Youth Club celebrated the culmination of the Youth Club Protรฉgรฉ Program at the YMCA Little Theatre.โœจ๐Ÿ’™

Through their project proposal defenses, the protรฉgรฉs showcased the skills, insights, and experiences they had gained throughout the year, demonstrating their readiness to take on greater leadership roles within the organization.๐Ÿซก๐ŸŒŸ

The event concluded with the graduation of the protรฉgรฉsโ€”marking not only the end of their training journey, but also the beginning of new opportunities to serve and lead in the years ahead.๐ŸŽ“
