As part of World 1: Mystery Block Hunt (Environmental Awareness), our players scanned hidden QR codes across the campus to uncover important local environmental facts, statistics, and issues. To make sure this knowledge reaches beyond the game, we’re sharing these World 1 Infocards for everyone to learn from.

Why this matters:
Environmental awareness is the first step toward action. Whether you’re playing the game or simply scrolling your feed, these infocards aim to inform, inspire, and empower everyone to make more sustainable choices.

Learning shouldn’t be locked behind a QR code, so here they are for all to see!

Environmental Awareness Unlocked!

The adventure has begun, and our brave teams scoured the PUPLHS campus in search of the hidden Mystery Blocks. Each QR scan revealed eye-opening facts about local environmental issues and proved that learning can be an adventure, too.

How points were earned:
2 Coins (C) for every verified Mystery Block scan
Participation tracked through HoverQR analytics
Knowledge tested through the post-hunt quiz

Power-Up Unlocked!
The team with the highest quiz score earned the Super Star Badge, showing not only speed and teamwork, but true environmental awareness!

It’s-a me, Sustainable Mariooo!

Calling all adventurers of the PUPLHS Kingdom🏰‼️

King Bowser has wreaked havoc upon our land, leaving our environment filthy and messy. This growing waste problem threatens not only our surroundings but also our health and well-being.

But worry not, brave heroes‼️ With Sustainable Mario and the united PUPLHS community, we shall rise and reign VICTORIOUS over all evil and filthy things‼️ 🌏

𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐌𝐚𝐢𝐧 𝐐𝐮𝐞𝐬𝐭

This gamified environmental challenge, inspired by the fun and competitive spirit of Super Mario Bros., challenges students to take real and measurable actions toward better waste management, reduction, and recycling in school.

𝐅𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐖𝐨𝐫𝐥𝐝𝐬. 𝐅𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐌𝐢𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬. 𝐎𝐧𝐞 𝐆𝐨𝐚𝐥.
Adventurers will journey through four themed Worlds, each focusing on a key aspect of sustainability and waste reduction. By completing missions such as:
♻️ proper waste segregation
♻️ recycling and upcycling
♻️ minimizing single-use items

students can earn points, power-ups, and rewards on their quest to defeat Bowser — the embodiment of Waste.

Together, let’s make our environment squeaky clean, safe, 🫧 and sparkly once more!
