Serving with compassion and commitment, the Philippine Coast Guard Auxiliary District National Capital Region–Central Luzon (CGADNCR-CL) proudly took part in the Gift-Giving Mission spearheaded by the Coast Guard Human Resource Management Center (CGHRMC) on 30 July 2026 at the Covered Court, Brgy. Bangkal, Abucay, Bataan.

Under the leadership of 𝐀𝐔𝐗 𝐑𝐀𝐃𝐌 𝐅𝐑𝐄𝐃𝐄𝐑𝐈𝐂𝐊 𝐒 𝐆𝐎𝐌𝐄𝐙 𝐏𝐂𝐆𝐀, District Auxiliary Director, together with the dedicated officers and members of the CGADNCR-CL Squadrons, the District united with CGHRMC, the Coast Guard Medical Service (CGMED), Coast Guard District NCR–Central Luzon, and Coast Guard Station Bataan in bringing hope and assistance to the Aeta community.

Through this collaborative outreach, 301 beneficiaries, composed of 150 children and 151 adults, received grocery packs, hygiene and dental kits, slippers, clothing, toys, school supplies, books, vitamins, and hot meals. Free medical and optical services were likewise provided, while storytelling sessions and fun-filled games created memorable moments for the children.

More than the distribution of essential goods, this mission embodies the spirit of service, volunteerism, and unity, reaffirming the commitment of the Philippine Coast Guard Auxiliary to uplift communities and extend genuine care to those in need.

DISTRICT AUXILIARY BOARD (DAB) MEETING

The COAST GUARD AUXILIARY DISTRICT NCR–CENTRAL LUZON (CGADNCR-CL) successfully convened its DISTRICT AUXILIARY BOARD (DAB) MEETING on 18 July 2026 at the Philippine Navy Officers Club, Fort Bonifacio, Taguig City, under the leadership of 𝐀𝐔𝐗 𝐑𝐀𝐃𝐌 𝐅𝐑𝐄𝐃𝐄𝐑𝐈𝐂𝐊 𝐒 𝐆𝐎𝐌𝐄𝐙 𝐏𝐂𝐆𝐀, 𝐃𝐈𝐒𝐓𝐑𝐈𝐂𝐓 𝐀𝐔𝐗𝐈𝐋𝐈𝐀𝐑𝐘 𝐃𝐈𝐑𝐄𝐂𝐓𝐎𝐑, with the attendance of the District Staff, Squadron Commanders, and Auxiliary Officers.

The meeting served as a venue to review the District's accomplishments, discuss administrative and operational updates, present the financial status of the District, and reinforce organizational policies that support the continued growth and effectiveness of the Philippine Coast Guard Auxiliary.

Administrative matters were presented by 𝐀𝐔𝐗 𝐑𝐀𝐃𝐌 𝐄𝐃𝐖𝐈𝐍 𝐉 𝐃𝐀𝐋𝐀𝐍𝐆𝐈𝐍 𝐏𝐂𝐆𝐀, 𝐃𝐄𝐏𝐔𝐓𝐘 𝐃𝐈𝐒𝐓𝐑𝐈𝐂𝐓 𝐀𝐔𝐗𝐈𝐋𝐈𝐀𝐑𝐘 𝐃𝐈𝐑𝐄𝐂𝐓𝐎𝐑, together with 𝐀𝐔𝐗 𝐂𝐎𝐌𝐌𝐎 𝐘𝐀𝐒𝐇𝐈𝐊𝐀 𝐓𝐎𝐑𝐈𝐁 𝐏𝐂𝐆𝐀, 𝐃𝐈𝐒𝐓𝐑𝐈𝐂𝐓 𝐂𝐇𝐈𝐄𝐅 𝐎𝐅 𝐒𝐓𝐀𝐅𝐅, and 𝐀𝐔𝐗 𝐂𝐃𝐑 𝐉𝐎𝐇𝐍 𝐌𝐈𝐂𝐇𝐀𝐄𝐋 𝐀𝐃𝐑𝐀𝐃𝐎𝐒 𝐏𝐂𝐆𝐀, 𝐃𝐈𝐒𝐓𝐑𝐈𝐂𝐓 𝐂𝐇𝐈𝐄𝐅 𝐎𝐅 𝐒𝐓𝐀𝐅𝐅 𝐅𝐎𝐑 𝐇𝐔𝐌𝐀𝐍 𝐑𝐄𝐒𝐎𝐔𝐑𝐂𝐄𝐒.

Operational updates were presented by 𝐀𝐔𝐗 𝐂𝐀𝐏𝐓 𝐌𝐄𝐋𝐕𝐈𝐍 𝐉 𝐃𝐀𝐋𝐀𝐍𝐆𝐈𝐍 𝐏𝐂𝐆𝐀 on behalf of 𝐀𝐔𝐗 𝐂𝐀𝐏𝐓 𝐂𝐄𝐒𝐀𝐑 𝐁𝐑𝐄𝐃𝐄𝐒 𝐏𝐂𝐆𝐀, 𝐃𝐈𝐑𝐄𝐂𝐓𝐎𝐑, 𝐃𝐈𝐒𝐀𝐒𝐓𝐄𝐑 𝐑𝐄𝐒𝐏𝐎𝐍𝐒𝐄 𝐆𝐑𝐎𝐔𝐏 (𝐃𝐑𝐆).

The First Semester Calendar Year 2026 District Financial Report was presented by 𝐀𝐔𝐗 𝐋𝐂𝐃𝐑 𝐂𝐀𝐑𝐌𝐄𝐋𝐀 𝐌𝐀𝐑𝐈𝐄 𝐃𝐈𝐄𝐆𝐎 𝐏𝐂𝐆𝐀 on behalf of the District Finance Office, providing the Board with an overview of the District's financial performance, fund utilization, and financial accountability in support of ongoing and future District programs.

The activity was honored by the presence of 𝐂𝐀𝐏𝐓 𝐅𝐑𝐀𝐍𝐂𝐈𝐒𝐂𝐎 𝐀𝐂𝐇𝐈𝐋𝐋𝐄𝐒 𝐋 𝐀𝐂𝐄𝐃𝐈𝐋𝐋𝐎 𝐏𝐂𝐆, Deputy Commander, Coast Guard District NCR-Central Luzon (CGDNCR-CL), who delivered an inspiring message emphasizing professionalism, unity, discipline, and the vital role of the Philippine Coast Guard Auxiliary as a trusted force multiplier of the Philippine Coast Guard.

In his closing message, AUX RADM FREDERICK S GOMEZ PCGA, Director Auxiliary District (DAD), Coast Guard Auxiliary District NCR-Central Luzon (CGADNCR-CL) expressed his appreciation to all officers and members for their unwavering dedication and commitment to volunteer service. He encouraged everyone to continue upholding the highest standards of excellence, integrity, teamwork, and service in carrying out the missions of the Philippine Coast Guard Auxiliary.

Together, CGADNCR-CL remains steadfast in its commitment to strengthening leadership, enhancing operational readiness, promoting good governance, and delivering meaningful volunteer service in support of the Philippine Coast Guard.

𝐀 𝐇𝐞𝐫𝐨 𝐡𝐚𝐬 𝐠𝐨𝐧𝐞 𝐇𝐨𝐦𝐞.

The Philippine Coast Guard Auxiliary is deeply saddened by the untimely passing of 𝐀𝐔𝐗 𝐂𝐀𝐏𝐓 𝐆𝐄𝐑𝐀𝐋𝐃 𝐆 𝐆𝐀𝐋𝐙𝐀 𝐏𝐂𝐆𝐀, Director Auxiliary Squadron of the 107th CGAS.

More than an officer, we are grieving the loss of a great man who has spent a good part of his journey toeing the line between life and death in the name of service and compassion.

Capt Galza is leading one of the Rescue Squadrons of CGADNCR-CL. He has rescued and recovered countless fellowmen during his time in the PCGA, often rushing to the side of the Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) to lead SAR operations regardless of the time, location, or weather situation.

When duty called, he was always there.
Striving.
Leading.
Rescuing.
Silently, behind the scenes.

He was among the handful of PCGA operatives who braved the unseen enemy that was COVID-19 pandemic at the height of its onslaught.

He was tireless in protecting the marine environment, diving with fellow PCGA and marine environmentalists in planting, monitoring, and enhancing coral reefs.

He was a tough trainer; glowering, yelling, and drilling his students with the principles and practice of Search, Rescue, Retrieval, and Life Support. He produced hundreds of capable Rescuers and Disaster Response Group (DRG) members for CGADNCR-CL -- all of whom respected his wisdom and loved him like a father.

He kept on doing what he did best, always by the sea.

He lived for it.

Sought joy and brotherhood in it.

And right at the very end, he was still on it.

He was showing diving students the beauty of the marine environment when he was called Home.

What better epitome of a perfect maritime volunteer and marine environmental warrior there is than our dearly departed, Capt Galza?

Our unsung hero has gone Home. Fare well, sir.

COAST GUARD AUXILIARY DISTRICT NATIONAL CAPITAL REGION – CENTRAL LUZON CONDUCTS INDOCTRINATION SEMINAR

On 11 July 2026, the Coast Guard Auxiliary District National Capital Region – Central Luzon (CGADNCR-CL), under the leadership of District Director 𝐀𝐔𝐗 𝐑𝐀𝐃𝐌 𝐅𝐑𝐄𝐃𝐄𝐑𝐈𝐂𝐊 𝐒 𝐆𝐎𝐌𝐄𝐙 𝐏𝐂𝐆𝐀, successfully conducted an Indoctrination Seminar for newly accepted applicants from all squadrons under the district.

The activity was spearheaded by the Deputy Chief of Staff for Education and Training, 𝐀𝐔𝐗 𝐂𝐃𝐑 𝐂𝐙𝐀𝐑-𝐉𝐎𝐇𝐍 𝐒 𝐏𝐀𝐍𝐆𝐀𝐍𝐈𝐁𝐀𝐍 𝐏𝐂𝐆𝐀, who facilitated the Protocol Seminar and Military Drills designed to familiarize applicants with the fundamental principles, discipline, customs, and traditions of the Philippine Coast Guard Auxiliary.

Supporting the activity were the staff of the Deputy Chief of Staff for Education and Training, AUX LCDR JESSIE G LOPEZ PCGA, and AUX LTJG ALEXANDER L SATORIO JR PCGA, who served as lecturers and shared valuable knowledge and insights throughout the seminar.

The District Seven (D7) Commander, 𝐋𝐂𝐃𝐑 𝐑𝐎𝐂𝐇𝐄𝐋𝐋𝐄 𝐓 𝐂𝐋𝐀𝐑𝐈𝐍 𝐏𝐂𝐆, conducted the Philippine Coast Guard Orientation and remained throughout the activity to oversee and monitor the progress of the indoctrination program.

The event was honored by the presence of District Director 𝐀𝐔𝐗 𝐑𝐀𝐃𝐌 𝐅𝐑𝐄𝐃𝐄𝐑𝐈𝐂𝐊 𝐒 𝐆𝐎𝐌𝐄𝐙 𝐏𝐂𝐆𝐀, Deputy District Director 𝐀𝐔𝐗 𝐑𝐀𝐃𝐌 𝐄𝐃𝐖𝐈𝐍 𝐉 𝐃𝐀𝐋𝐀𝐍𝐆𝐈𝐍 𝐏𝐂𝐆𝐀, and DRG Director 𝐀𝐔𝐗 𝐂𝐀𝐏𝐓 𝐂𝐄𝐒𝐀𝐑 𝐀 𝐁𝐑𝐄𝐃𝐄𝐒 𝐏𝐂𝐆𝐀, whose attendance underscored the district’s unwavering commitment to excellence in leadership and service.

To ensure the safety and well-being of all participants, the 124th Auxiliary Squadron Medical Team, led by 𝐀𝐔𝐗 𝐂𝐎𝐌𝐌𝐎 𝐍𝐈𝐂𝐎𝐋𝐋𝐄 𝐋𝐎𝐔𝐑𝐃𝐄𝐒 𝐁 𝐃𝐄𝐋𝐀 𝐂𝐑𝐔𝐙 𝐏𝐂𝐆𝐀, conducted vital signs monitoring prior to the physical activities.

A total of 39 applicants successfully participated in the Indoctrination Seminar, marking the beginning of their journey toward becoming members of the Philippine Coast Guard Auxiliary.

More than a recruitment activity, the CGADNCR-CL; home to some of the Philippine Coast Guard Auxiliary’s most respected leaders, is dedicated to developing and mentoring future officers who exemplify integrity, discipline, professionalism, and servant leadership. Through comprehensive education and training, the District strives to cultivate officers who possess the character, mindset, bearing, and values expected of a true officer and a gentleman.

The activity aims to enhance the health, wellness, and overall morale of personnel by providing accessible medical and dental services, preventive healthcare interventions, and health education.

CGADNCR-CL remains steadfast in supporting initiatives that promote the welfare and readiness of our Coast Guard personnel through collaboration, compassion, and dedicated service.

Under the leadership of 𝐀𝐔𝐗 𝐑𝐀𝐃𝐌 𝐅𝐑𝐄𝐃𝐄𝐑𝐈𝐂𝐊 𝐒 𝐆𝐎𝐌𝐄𝐙 𝐏𝐂𝐆𝐀, Director, Auxiliary District, 𝐀𝐔𝐗 𝐑𝐀𝐃𝐌 𝐄𝐃𝐖𝐈𝐍 𝐉 𝐃𝐀𝐋𝐀𝐍𝐆𝐈𝐍 𝐏𝐂𝐆𝐀, Deputy Director Auxiliary District, and 𝐀𝐔𝐗 𝐂𝐀𝐏𝐓 𝐂𝐄𝐒𝐀𝐑 𝐌 𝐁𝐑𝐄𝐃𝐄𝐒 𝐏𝐂𝐆𝐀, Director, Disaster Response Group, the Philippine Coast Guard Auxiliary (PCGA) under the Coast Guard Auxiliary District NCR–Central Luzon (CGADNCR-CL) swiftly mobilized a significant quantity of goods and relief donations to fully support the government's Humanitarian Assistance and Disaster Response (HADR) efforts.

As its consistent operating procedure, the PCGA rapidly operates closely, efficiently, generously, and often, silently behind the scenes alongside the Philippine Coast Guard, ensuring the timely and effective delivery of humanitarian aid.

Through the coordinated efforts of various Auxiliary Squadrons and relief inventories, a substantial volume of relief goods, medical supplies, and essential non-food items were consolidated and turned over to the Philippine Coast Guard through BRP Corregidor for transport and distribution to affected communities in Mindanao.

The collection of goods was completed a day after this Auxiliary District received notice of assistance from the PCG. These were loaded and turned over to BRP Corregidor prior to its departure for GenSan.

This collective effort highlights the unwavering commitment of the PCGA to strengthen disaster response operations and provide immediate humanitarian assistance where it is needed most.
