The Last Mile Project by
We are a community of riders united by a single purpose: using our wheels to bridge the gap for students in the most remote, far-flung communities in the Philippines. 🇵🇭
The name is inspired by the DepEd’s Last Mile Schools initiative, which focuses on public schools in geographically isolated, disadvantaged, and conflict-affected areas. In logistics, the “last mile” is the hardest, most difficult leg of a journey. For these students, it means hiking through rugged mountain trails or crossing rivers just to get an education.
While DepEd works to build up the schools with power, clean water, and concrete classrooms, our mission is to provide directly for the students. The government takes care of the infrastructure, and we take care of the kids.
As motorcycle riders, we realized we have a unique advantage. When the concrete pavement stops and the terrain gets tough, cars and trucks have to turn back. That is exactly where our bikes can keep going.
Where the infrastructure ends, we step in. Our mission is to conquer that literal “last mile” to deliver:
•Essential school supplies for students and classrooms
•Food
•Clothing
We aren’t just riding for the thrill of the road anymore; we are riding for a deeper purpose. We want to ensure that no student is left behind just because they live at the end of the line.
Give us a follow to track our journeys, meet the incredible kids and teachers we visit, and find out how you can support our upcoming missions. Whether you want to ride with us, pack a box, or sponsor an outreach, you can help us complete the journey.
