JANUARY 24, 2026 | 𝗣𝗨𝗣𝗙𝗠𝗔𝗔𝗜 𝘀𝘂𝗰𝗰𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗳𝘂𝗹𝗹𝘆 𝗵𝗲𝗹𝗱 𝗶𝘁𝘀 1𝘀𝘁 𝗢𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗲𝗿𝘀’ 𝗠𝗲𝗲𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 💻✨, which started at 1:30 PM and concluded at 2:50 PM, marking the beginning of purposeful planning for AY 2026–2027.

The meeting brought together dedicated officers united by a shared vision for the growth of the association 🤝. Key discussions focused on strategic initiatives, alumni engagement, fundraising activities, and organizational milestones 📊📌. This collaborative session helped set clear directions for future programs and strengthened alumni connections.

The Polytechnic University of the Philippines Financial Management Alumni Association Inc. (PUPFMAAI) successfully held its Board of Trustees elections for the 2026–2027 term on January 9–10, 2026. The election, chaired by Albert Sugalan of the Committee on Elections, marked another milestone for the organization as it continues to grow in influence and impact within the alumni community.

This year’s elections saw strong participation, with 60 alumni nominated and 10 candidates emerging as top vote-getters. The official nomination results are as follows:

Gem B. Galupar’s reelection as President for a second term and reelection of Mark Anthony G. De Leon, who previously served as Assistant Secretary and now steps into a higher leadership role as Vice President for External Affairs reflect the strong confidence placed in their leadership and vision for the association. Equally notable is the election of 3 fresh graduates from Batch 2024 to 2025, namely Angelo Hufancio, Allaine Dialino and Kirsten Joyce Roberts, signify the confidence of the community to young and emerging leaders. These developments underscore the trust and recognition given to leaders who have consistently demonstrated commitment to the association’s goals.

Established in 2023, PUPFMAAI was founded with a clear mission to create a dependable alumni association that inspires and helps the community. Guided by its vision of building a sustainable and adaptive network of PUP Finance alumni, the association serves as an arm of the university, linking graduates to the industry while maintaining relevance and presence in the community for the common good. Over the years, PUPFMAAI has anchored its initiatives on three core pillars—support to the Department of Financial Management (DFM) and its students, active alumni engagement, and social responsibility through meaningful advocacy and corporate social responsibility programs.

As the association enters this new chapter, it remains committed to being an ally of the Department of Financial Management, a link between alumni and institutions, and an advocate for social responsibility. With renewed leadership and a clear sense of purpose, PUPFMAAI looks forward to another productive term marked by innovation, engagement, and impact.
