A day of service, faith, and courage. 🤍

We were blessed to volunteer at 𝗬𝗼𝘂𝗠𝗶𝗖𝗼𝗻 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 (Youth Ministry Conference) with this year’s theme, “𝗢𝗩𝗘𝗥𝗖𝗢𝗠𝗘: 𝗧𝗮𝗸𝗲 𝗖𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗮𝗴𝗲, 𝗜 𝗛𝗮𝘃𝗲 𝗢𝘃𝗲𝗿𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗹𝗱.”

Through serving alongside fellow young people, we were reminded that every act of service is an opportunity to grow in faith, build connections, and be part of something greater.

May we continue to take courage and live with hearts ready to serve. 🙏🏻

𝐒𝐞𝐩𝐭𝐞𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐫 𝟑, 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔 | 𝐕𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐒𝐚𝐧 𝐅𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐨 𝐝𝐞 𝐃𝐢𝐥𝐚𝐨 𝐌𝐞𝐞𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠

With hearts united in faith and service, we gathered for the 𝗩𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝗦𝗮𝗻 𝗙𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗼 𝗱𝗲 𝗗𝗶𝗹𝗮𝗼 𝗠𝗲𝗲𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 last September 3, 2026, at St. Peter the Apostle Parish, Paco, Manila, together with our Beloved 𝗩𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗙𝗼𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗲, 𝗥𝗲𝘃. 𝗙𝗿. 𝗝𝗼𝗺𝗮𝗿 𝗕𝘂𝗿𝗴𝗼𝘀, 𝗟𝗥𝗠𝗦.

This gathering was more than a meeting it became a meaningful opportunity for fruitful conversations, sharing of experiences, and exchanging of ideas, especially in strengthening our ministry and nurturing the faith of the youth. Through these discussions, we were reminded of the importance of listening to one another, learning from each other, and working together in building a community where young people can encounter Christ and grow in their faith.

May the Holy Spirit continue to guide our vicariate, strengthen our priests, religious, and faithful hearts, and inspire us to serve God’s people with humility, love, and joyful hearts.

May we continue to walk together in faith, serve with love, and proclaim Christ in all that we do.

We thank God for blessing us with good and fair weather. We pray that it will continue as we prepare for another meaningful day filled with Team Building and Praise & Worship.

Please continue to pray for us, that the Lord may guide us, strengthen our faith, and help us grow closer to Him and to one another. May this day be fruitful and filled with God’s grace!

N E W S || Manila Archbishop Encourages Faithful to Listen to the Struggles of the Youth in Message of Solidarity

Manila Archbishop Jose F. Cardinal Advincula stands by those injured and traumatized by the shooting at Ateneo de Zamboanga University in his Message of Solidarity.

In his message, he calls the faithful to not only look at the wounded safety caused by this act of violence but to listen deeply to what the tragedy tells about the struggles that the youth of today face.

"We need to listen to them, not only when they speak loudly, but especially when they suffer quietly. We need to create spaces where they can speak without fear of judgement, seek help without shame, and know that they are valued and loved."

Cardinal Advincula expresses his hope that in turning to prayer in this time of grief, that it may lead to united action.

He adds, "Together, let us strengthen a culture of care, compassion, dialogue, and accompaniment so that violence and hatred may never have the final word.”
