We are grateful for your growth in the Marriage Preparation Seminar.
Your journey toward a blessed and faithful marriage is an inspiration to our parish community, and we rejoice with you as you continue to discern God’s plan for your life together.
As you embark on your Engaged Encounter, we invite you to be agents of invitation and community-building.
The 2-day Catholic Engaged Encounter is a transformative experience that helps couples prepare for the sacrament of marriage, deepen communication, and grow in faith as a couple.
To strengthen our parish family and support more couples on this sacred path, we kindly ask you to invite your friends, family, and fiancées who may benefit from this preparation.
Why invite others?
It fosters a welcoming, supportive community for engaged couples.
It helps couples build a solid spiritual foundation before marriage.
It creates opportunities for mentorship and ongoing faith-sharing within the community.
It enlarges the circle of couples who can serve as witnesses and role models in the parish.
How you can invite effectively
Personal invitation: Reach out with a heartfelt message or phone call to someone you know who is engaged or considering engagement.
Share your testimony: Briefly describe how the Marriage Preparation Seminar affected you and why Engaged Encounter could help them.
Highlight the parish support: Emphasize that the program includes spiritual exercises, couple reflections, and guidance rooted in Catholic teaching.
What to expect: Catholic inputs on communication, conflict resolution, finances, family of origin, faith life, and daily prayer; opportunity for private couple reflection; small-group discussions in a faith-filled environment
How it helps the community: Builds a network of believing couples who can support one another and contribute to the parish’s vibrant, faith-centered culture
Gracious God, we thank you for the gift of love and the bond of marriage. Help our graduates to invite others with generosity and faith, so that more couples may encounter your grace through the Engaged Encounter.
