This Earth Month, we officially introduce MYCA 🌿
As the capital region, Metro Manila is often seen as the center of the country’s social, economic, and political landscape, yet it is also one of the most exposed to the impacts of the climate crisis. Across different communities, from highly urbanized areas to riversides and coastal areas, these effects are becoming harder to ignore, and the call for genuine action grows stronger each day.
MYCA exists as a space for young people in Metro Manila to come together, speak, and take meaningful action for climate and the environment. Grounded in our reality as the capital region and driven by a shared purpose, we push for real change through intergenerational and intersectional action, built on shared responsibility across generations and diverse lived realities.
