What a ride it has been!🚴🎉

We’re proud to announce the successful implementation of OMYLA’s third and final project—READ-ical: Reading on Wheels, Literacy in Motion! This initiative aimed not only to strengthen reading comprehension among students but also to promote environmental awareness by collecting recyclable materials to help fund the project—a true win-win for learning and sustainability. 🌱📖

Participants engaged in a series of exciting brain challenges, including a spelling bee and quiz bee based on the lessons shared by our student-speakers and the stories they read. It was a dynamic clash of wit, memory, and application—and the youth of Brgy. Guilig did not disappoint. They showed not only competitiveness but also a genuine eagerness to learn—traits that define the bright students of Mangaldan National High School.✨🧠

Of course, our third OMYLA project wouldn't be completed without the star of the show—the OMYLA Pedicab! It carried not just school supplies and prizes, but it also delivered a message that education can move, that literacy can reach even the farthest corners if we just find creative ways to bring it there. A real symbol of literacy on wheels!🛺🎁

We’re deeply grateful to the SK Officials of Brgy. Guilig and the MNHS English Department for their unwavering support and belief in our cause. Your presence meant more than words can express. A special thank you also to Ma’am Tina Castle for generously sponsoring the snacks for our participants. Thank you all for helping us make our final project not just a success, but a memory we’ll always treasure.🤍🤝

From every smile to every shared story, every moment was a blast. As we close this chapter of OMYLA’s journey, we’re reminded that not all endings are goodbyes—they're proof that something meaningful was accomplished. We came as youth for the youth, and we leave with full hearts, knowing that our purpose has been fulfilled.🌟

Get ready to roll into reading! 📚🚲

OMYLA proudly presents its third — and hopefully not the last — literacy initiative called "READ-ical: Read on Wheels, Literacy in Motion," happening this June 14, 2025, 1:00 PM at Mangaldan National High School!

From building vocabulary and spelling adventures to mastering reading speed and comprehension quizzes, this project is designed to ignite young minds through fun, interactive literacy activities that sharpen primary reading skills, enrich vocabulary, and deepen story comprehension among our young participants. 🎉📖

But here's our plot twist! Our commitment to bringing education to students doesn't stop at the classroom— it moves, grows, and reaches beyond. In partnership with SK Guilig and Mangaldan National High School English Department, we have worked hand in hand to make this project possible. With the support of our community-wide pedicab initiative, we've gathered school supplies and repurposed recyclable materials to help fund and implement this project. 🌍🤝🩷

Let's make a READ-ical a reality. Together, we ride toward a future where literacy knows no limits! 🚴‍♂️💡

127 years of Freedom — and the Fight Lives on…🇵🇭

This June 12, OMYLA proudly joins the nation in commemorating the 127th Philippine Independence Day. Today, we honor the courage of those who came before us — our heroes who dared to dream, speak, and fight for a nation they believed could one day be free. 🤍

As a youth-led organization committed to education and empowerment, OMYLA stands not only in remembrance, but also in honor of the sacrifices of our heroes by continuing the fight in our own ways — through literacy, service, and meaningful engagement with the community. Our battles may look different, but our mission remains the same — to courageously stand for what is right and just. Today, we carry pens instead of swords, and a purpose that empowers us to build a future full of justice and hope. ✒️

The fight does not end in history books. It continues in classrooms, in communities, and in the hearts of young people with a vision for a brighter tomorrow. Let us keep the flame of nationalism and patriotism burning in every heart we reach and every mind we enlighten. 📚
